First of all, Rob's series wont be anything like the original from this point on. His H2 will be NOTHING like John's H2.

And the original Halloween 3 was not about Myers because they wanted to take the series to a place where every film will be something totally different. At the time, they had no intentions of bringing back Michael. But since he was such a hit... they made Halloween 4... Which was an alright film... It was nice to see the little girl in that film all grown up in the Halloween remake.
 
Lets try to make it to H3 before we worry about that. I'm shocked as it is that Rob went to do H2. He said during H1 that he was done after that.

Who knows what'll happen.
 
about an h3 focussing on laurie's struggle,that's what H2 it's supposedly going to do...and from the looks of it,rob is gonna make her work at the same strip club as her mother and probably turn her into an alcoholic train wreck and possibly murderer herself..so..not to mention that according to spoilers and casting roles,there will be a part about necrophilia...

of course the guy had to do something really nasty to top the unnecesary rape scene from the first one,i guess his idea to make us cringe in a "horror" movie has nothing to do with actual fear but more with disgust and discomfort.

about friday's remake.i just saw it 2 nights ago,and while it has so many flaws,it's definitely up there with texas chainsaw massacre as the best remake.
