Red Sox fans can thank Mike Scioscia for ordering a squeeze play with one out and a man on third in the top of the ninth inning. OK, so it didn't work out so well for the Angels but the game is still tied.

Red Sox fans can thank Mike Scioscia for staying with Shields and not calling on Francisco Rodriguez in the bottom of the ninth inning. Why not bring in your best reliever? It was not a save situation but it was a situation where if the Red Sox score, the game is over and, by the way, so is the ALDS. OK, so it didn't work out so well for the Angels and they lost the game.

Francisco Rodriguez is resting at home right now and so is Mike Scioscia.

Sonny,I wouldn't be crushed if the Dodgers win,since I wasn't there for their Brooklyn days,and subsequent betrayal and move to the sunny warm climate of LA.But I never liked them from their days back in the '70's and 80's and that Hollywood glitz and arrogance.I have to wuithhold my Amen because I have really become impressed with the way the Rays do things.They have become the Florida club to watch,the Marlins just don't have the consistency yet.And they don't get along too well with the Red Sox,either!:p

It should be some great baseball(I've got vacation this upcoming week,so I can really get into the games)!

I am glad we have a bit of riverly going here Sausy. With apoligies to Brad I am hoping for Dodgers/Rays, cause if them Phillies get in, well lets just say :grrr:](*,)
I would be cool with a Dodgers/Boston series though, as long as Dodgers take it.
My grandfather is an old Dodgers fan so it's hard not to like them.
