Someone has to show them some love around here![]()
Robert, you could be right about the Cubs, compared to Boston's rise as a power after 84 years with no WS title. We New York area baseball loving Jubbers knop full well how much the so-called curse of the Bambino means nothing now...Boston is a world class basebasll power since 2004's first WS title since 1918(Abs is still crying over that one, though the Cards victory in 2006 made things better)I really hate all this supercalifragilisticexpialidocious cursing horseshit stuff!
Boston finally put a fork in the old Bambino curse and by kicking some NY Yankee ass to boot too. The Chicago Cubs shall overcome such BS as well!
AND since Abs brought this whole thing up ........
GO Ms Scrub, keep cheering for the PHILLIES! (thumbs up smilie)
Manny left Boston in a classless, gutless manner and it was his and agent Scott Boras' insatiatable greed and selfishness in trying to engineer a big money free agent contract by forcing a trade that understandably makes him persona non grata in Boston. He is an amazing offensive player, still though.....I have my doubts however Yanks and Mets will get into serious bidding for the soon to be 37 Ramirez as sonny seems to think....25 mil per year for 4 years at his age is just too much of a risk, especially considering he isn't a great defensive outfielder to begin with and after a year or two his bat may slow dramatically.Phillies and Red Sox.Keep Fanny out of Boston.
Perish the thought, sonny!Phillie fans are some of the most insecure, fair weather naysaying bleaters around(excepting Scrub who is a true blue fan)Their discomfort amuses me!I dono, I'm gettin worried about that team.
But I laughed my ass off at Fox scanning the crowd of Phillies fans during the bottom of the 9th, with two on and one out. They were all wringing their hands, praying, and chewing on heir rally towels, all worried that the ball would get hit outa the park and tie the game. OMG, that would have been so sweet.
Oh well, we will get em in LA.
Red Sox won as well, it's the beginning of the Apocalypse![]()

Now Sonny, don't you mean Lets go Phillies![]()
Heard that last night. It certainly was no pitcher's battle, but occasionally these kinds of games are thrilling.I agree with you sonny on why certain moments just confirm,no matter what team we're for,why we love baseball so muchI wonder if you guys knew The Red Sox and Rays have tied a MLB postseason record for home runs in a game with seven last night.
It was a long but fun game, when Perez charged home on Upton’s sacrifice fly in the 11th inning, I thought Yeah, that's one of the reasons why I love baseball.
Lets go Dodgers!

Actually, what everyone means is Let's go Tampa! Now Sonny, don't you mean Lets go Phillies![]()
I mean their stadium is a completeI know, I know, the Phillies lost one
It's okay they will come back and win tonight![]()

Sonny's forgetting me lately...I hate the Phillies too.I'm rooting for a Dodgers/Rays WS,you know!Just like Tampa better than that fake Manny's current club.
