B52's New Song, what do you think?

Can't get it in the UK yet but keep listening to on the B's page and love it. Anyone else .....?

I'm a bit disappointed. Not too original. Love Shack ----> Fun Plex? And the song, despite its title, just isn't as fun as Love Shack.

it sounds very B-52s which is good

but not too catchy as Lex said, it should be catchier.

Nowadays they have more competition on the fun band with cool tunes department, so they should step up to the plate a bit more
 
The B 52's Are Back

Just wanted to let everyone know that their new album "Funplex" will be out on Tuesday March 25th. I got an advance copy and am rocking out to it right now, it is great, go get it!

It's a fun album. I would've prefered if there was one really amazing "hit" single on there - something I'd find myself singing and humming hours or days afterwards. No such luck. But it's still a really fun listen.

Fortunately I remember, but sadly I cannot hear the new album, so thanks for the heads up about its release. At least I will know I am missing something, I probably would enjoy. Are there lyrics posted anywhere at this time?

Wow, a new B 52's album and a new R.E.M. album (which is supposed to be frigging fantastic) at the same time.

It's a good week.

I was reading an article in The Advocate about the release of 'Funplex'.
Of course, a big deal was made about Kate finally 'coming out', and they asked Fred how he heard about it.

"I don't remember", he said, "Maybe she sent everyone an e-mail saying that she was a lesbian !"

I though that was pretty funny.... ;)
