The first time I saw The B's live was at Vanderbilt University back in 1982 or 1983. At one point, they had to stop and ask the kids in the balcony to stop dancing so hard because it was shaking! (!)

The first two albums bring back so many fond memories of high school and college parties!

Is it just me or do you prefer the songs where Fred just shuts up and lets the girls get on with it?

i.e., Dirty Back Road, Give Me Back My Man, Summer Of Love, Roam...
 
I also think that no band post 1960 understands rock 'n' roll like The B-52's. They just nail those riffs and melodies.
