Re: The Official BEYONCE thread

...........I'm just glad that Whitney Houston got yet ANOTHER mention in someone else's speech/segment, as usual. Whether its Bey, Britney, Gaga or RiRi -- all the big girls in the game continue to show why Whitney Houston is the greatest and the most-influential female artist by far. Keep shouting her out and thanking her, girls. That is all. :)

...But um, Bey's PERFORMANCE itself was hot. Very innovative. Still aint feeling the song, tho.

Re: The Official BEYONCE thread

And now for a random laugh. Its funny how some fans think J.lo had something to do with only a snippet being shown on Idol :D. But truth be told, she was throwing some looks when Bey was getting praise.

She DID that shit!! This is clearly a song that sounds better live ..| And I liked how she thanked all members of Destiny's Child (including Latavia and Letoya). Shows great maturity.
The Queen!

If I use this cover on my iPod etc, it will have to be this version. That green background was killing me!

NOW, LOL 'Til' The End of Time'? 'Til' The End of Time' just cut my fucking throat! It's my FAVORITE B track ever! :luv:

Re: The Official BEYONCE thread

I like the song but not this performance.

She was trying too hard to follow the background special effects then actually sing.

Re: The Official BEYONCE thread

One in a lifetime performance wasted in such an awful song. The energy of this woman is overwhelming.

Re: The Official BEYONCE thread

So Beyonce ONCE AGAIN is an unoriginal copycat/thief. It was revealed today that she took an obscure singer/performer's idea for her performance last night, and because she is more popular, she gets the credit for it.

Check on it..

Smh.

I just continue to lose more and more respect for a person who continues to copycat and swagger-jack.

Re: The Official BEYONCE thread

How's it copying if the same person who did Lorella's did Beyonce's backdrop animation as well?...

This whole THEME for Beyonce is becoming all too common. She has swagger-jacked so many people and taken credit for songs she didn't write. Taken another artist's idea MORE THAN ONCE. That's why she's labeled an unoriginal copycat.

Remember when she copied Kylie Minogue?

Or when she swagger-jacked Britney Spears?

AND HERE WE GO.... Let it go, no one is 100 percent original these days. Damn sure artists like Lady Gaga aren't and barely do the accusations of copying are a big deal. And the idea of the suit came from the film Metropolis so isn't Kylie copying as well. Don't call out one and ignore the rest.

Apparently the idea has been done many times before. But its Beyonce so of course she copied

Re: The Official BEYONCE thread

I liked the first 50 seconds of the video and loved some of the outfits, but that's about it. The song is crap and the video won't save it on the charts. Step it up Bey!

That's right Bey, show that Caca lady who the real queen is.(!)

Re: The Official BEYONCE thread

The vid is a little all over the place. Randomness. But i liked some of the choreography, it kinda looks like they put her head on someone else's' body, hmm.. i wonder? :p

Not worth the wait, imo. I didn't like it enough to put a ring on it, honestly. lol

Kinda like that Whitney's comeback right?

Gurrl, took you long enough to come in here and post. I know it was eating you alive seeing Queen B on everyones lips while Whit, well we know no one cares...

Soiling thread after thread...

Gurrrl, these are all pity shout outs to someone that mattered 20 years ago. She's currently totally irrelevant.

All these women, Bey, Britney, Gaga or RiRi have stepped over the carcass of Whitney Houston on their way to the top.

Maybe she'd make a good poster child for the JUST SAY NO campaign.

or maybe if she can clean up a bit after yet another stint at rehab, Queen B will take pity on her and let her be the opening act on her next tour.:gogirl:

@ Starkiller and Anton98

Remember that SexyKevTaurean79's head is so far up Whitney Houston's ass the residue from the drugs are taking effect.

SexyKevTaurean79 can't stand the fact that Queen B is being talked about right here on JUB and the rest of the world. While poor Whit isn't even getting any sympathy for yet another trip to rehab.

SexyKevTaurean79 doesn't care that the same person who did Lorella's did Beyonce's backdrop animation as well so of course it's going to hacve similarities.

SexyKevTauren79 doesnrt care about what Anton98 also said...

SexyKevTaurean79 doesn't care about Kelly Rolland. That thread he started is just a thinly veiled rant against Queen B.

SexyKevTaurean79 maybe needs rehab more than Whit.

Beyonce Accepts Billboard Millennium Award, Delivers Show-Stopping Performance

Beyoncé's reign is stronger than ever -- that was clear at tonight's Billboard Music Awards on ABC, where the star received the Billboard Millennium Award and performed her new single, "Run the World (Girls)," for the first time on network television.

Several of Beyoncé's close relatives, famous friends and collaborators -- including First Lady Michelle Obama, Lady Gaga, The-Dream, U2's Bono, Babyface, Stevie Wonder, Solange and her son Daniel "Juelz" Smith, Barbra Streisand, Matthew Knowles and Tina Knowles -- took part in the Billboard Millennium Award presentation with pre-recorded personal messages about the singer's accomplishments and impact. Lady Gaga, who collaborated with Beyoncé on remixes of their singles "Telephone" and "Videophone," summed it up best: "You represent the dream," she said.

The honoree herself then took the stage in a barely-there silver number to perform "Run the World (Girls)," the lead single from her fourth studio album, "4," for the first time ever. Virtual duplicates of Queen B rocked behind her until an impressive 100 back-up dancers emerged to rock collectively to the girl-power anthem.

After the show-stopping performance, Tina Knowles and Juelz presented Beyoncé with the Billboard Millenium Award, as the singer breathlessly thanked her parents, Destiny Child's Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams and even former members of the group, LaToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson.

Beyoncé ended her speech by shouting out her husband -- "I love me some Jay-Z," she said, as the rap star smiled and nodded and a collective "aw" could be heard in Las Vegas' MGM Grand Arena and on social networks.

Beyonce's 'Till the End of Time' Single Leaks

There's no stopping Beyoncé.

The morning after Bey' hit the stage at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards stage for an epic, first-ever performance of first single, "Run this World (Girls)," a tag-less version of a new single -- "Till the End of Time" -- has surfaced.

The addictive track, a selection off Beyoncé's fourth album, "4," (June 28) hits strong from jump with the orchestration. Beyoncé sings of a love cherished,"Come take my hand / I won't let you go / I'll be your friend / I will love you so, deeply/ I will be the one to kiss you at night / I will love you till the end of time."

Beyoncé was presented the Billboard Millennium Award by her mother, Tina Knowles, after several of Bey's close relatives, famous friends and collaborators -- including First Lady Michelle Obama, Lady Gaga, The-Dream, U2's Bono, Babyface, Stevie Wonder, Solange and her son Daniel "Juelz" Smith, Barbra Streisand, Matthew Knowles and Tina Knowles -- shared kind words about the singer's impact and accomplishments through pre-recorded personal messages.
