Don't worry... I've known about Beyoncé ever since the days of Destiny's Child - somehow I even know her last name is Knowles, and I've seen her sing on TV - and I also still have no real idea of who/what she is supposed to be either. Supposedly a singer/actress/diva type, as if we need another one. Maybe kind of a latter-day Diana Ross, who also left her 3-girl singing group for a solo career. Maya Rudolph did a funny impression of Beyoncé on Saturday Night Live.

No, that's fine, lol. It just annoys how people act like they're above knowing who one of the most if not the most renowed pop female in music is right now as if it makes them cool or profound. Unless they don't watch any television and don't listen to the radio, they know damn well who Beyonce is.

As for her artistry, part of the reason non-haters give her so much flack is that she has access to all these people, yet no one can create anything highly original for her or she cannot create anything on her own. In addition, people behind the scenes who work with her do not get the credit (which usually means money) they deserve because she takes more credit, if not all the credit, for herself.
Other artists who are not nearly as powerful or rich as Beyonce do not have an issue giving a nod or paying people what they deserve for their work. If it were most other artists, the same people who support Beyonce would not be so forgiving. Those artists' credibility would come into question and it would possibly damage their careers.
At this point, it is a little ridiculous. Nearly every album she is accused of copying some performances and costumes, stealing some songwriting credits, or not paying dancers properly. Does she need money that badly? Is she really that uncreative?

Mr. M. that was pure cruelty talking about that bb like that. but ur right. i posted the same message in the beyonce forum in the entertainment section, and i hope that bb comes out with B's features and not JZ's. if it's a girl, then i pray that it luks like beyonce. of course if it's a boy, and he luks like JZ, he could b handsome when he turns 21, after all JZ does look cute when he dresses up. and i bet he has a big black dik also.
