Re: The Official BEYONCE thread

The video was cute. Love the outfit changes, hated her lipping. Her face didn't match the emotion when she belt those ending notes.

Re: The Official BEYONCE thread

But yet everyone still wants to work with Bey because they want to get paid. Seems to me if they give her a song, the terms would be DO NOT EDIT OR ADD YOUR NAME or else the contract is void and I will sue you, not a year later, but time I get your CD in my hands and see you took credit. Depending on who you talk to, everyone has something to say. Neyo said Bey jacked him on Irreplaceable or took credit, etc but said he would do another song for her in a heartbeat. Maybe someone in the industry will eventually set the record straight..and seems to me the record company has to approve of the cd before it goes to press and one would think to avoid being sued, they also would send out their lawyers to make sure things are on the up & up. At the end of they day, if Bey sings your song, her song, their song, she is gonna tear it up.

Beyonce Admits to Stealing Other People's Shit!

 Wow.

I highly doubt she's referring to stealing other artists' ideas in the video. She's probably talking about some small item(s). She's a little smarter than that I hope.

Beyonce Admits to Stealing Other People's Shit!

 Wow.

Beyonce had a playbill in her hand and was referring to broadway. She has used elements from broadway shows and plays in her peformances.

Re: The Official BEYONCE thread

TBH Beyonce could have kept Party. J. Cole's verse was wack and 3 stacks was missed. Her weakest video this era right next to Best Thing I Never Had and 1+1.

Re: The Official BEYONCE thread

That Party song is so unattractive to me I just don't understand why she didn't do a video for "End of Time" or "I was here"

My personal fav is "I miss you" but I doubt she would actually release something for that.

She didn't have to do all of this at all. She could of simply released "BTNH" promo it instead of all those random performances of 1+1. At LEAST get a top five hit on billboard then move on to "End of Time" or "Countdown". 1+1 is what really fucked this album up in my eyes. Any and all momentum she could of created was shattered with that track.

So, what you're saying is her that her strongest videos of this era are the ones where there is inspiration from other artists?

 I see what you're doing lol. My favorite this era has been Run the World and Countdown. The African guys are in the video so that kind of inspiration was not needed.

I couldn't help myself. Not to hijack the thread, but what's going on with Andre 3000? I've noticed that he has not appeared in any videos where he is featured on a track.

Beyoncé to release 'Live At Roseland' DVD, video anthology

Just in time for frenzied holiday shopping, she is issuing a live DVD compilation from her “4 Intimate Nights With Beyoncé” limited engagement shows at Roseland Ballroom, the singer announced on Wednesday.

The string of concerts back in August reportedly sold out in a record 22 seconds, and are the only times she has performed her new album, “4,” in its entirety. It’s also the last set of full shows the singer did before she shocked the MTV Video Music Awards audience by not-so-subtly showing she’d be taking a little maternity leave.

“Live At Roseland” will first see an exclusive Wal-Mart roll out on Nov. 21. Then on Nov. 29 Beyonce will issue a deluxe edition, “Live At Roseland: The Elements Of 4.”

The deluxe package includes a two-disc DVD, with the concert, behind-the-scenes footage, a 20-page booklet and a video anthology that includes the seven videos she filmed in support of “4." Which proves there was a method behind that madness of back-to-back, seemingly rushed release of clips -- the latest, “Party,” premieres Wednesday night.

But we're wondering if fans need to dip into their pockets so quickly? Though there are no plans as of yet, history has shown that each of her past concert DVD releases has ultimately been broadcast as TV specials.

I think it may be something to do with Andre's label, because I remember when Big Boi wanted to do some songs with him on his solo album and that was a no go.

Re: The Official BEYONCE thread

Can't believe didn't see this thread before. Beyonce is my favorite artists of all time, not just cuz she's from Houston, but because she is the overall package. 4 is my favorite album yet.

Ok, carry on. =p
