Not even surprised. :=D:

I've been listening to "I Miss You" a lot lately. I loved it immediately when I first started listening to 4, but I am absolutely obsessed with the song now.

For such a simple track... it is an extremely beautiful, moving work. The vocals, the lyrics, the beat...the atmosphere and everything about it just works for me in the best way.

It is soooo simple....a feeling...

but it's everything.

It's quickly climbing to the top of my list of favorite Bey tracks. Just under "Ring the Alarm", "Single Ladies", and "Start Over".

You and I need to hang out in real life! We seem to have a lot of things in common Asses, Chris Evans and Beyonce!

BTW, I love 'Start Over.' :D

I love Miss U and Start Over a lot too.

Start Over with those African chimes/drum beats remind me of Lion King tbh.

Re: The star of Dreamgirls is Beyonce.........according to Beyonce......

Beyonce will bring in the money, but Jennifer Hudson will take away the shine.

As for what I have to say about all this nonsense with La Weave, her time has come and its about to be gone. She lacks any substance.

*Sips tea & climbs back in Beyhive cone*

Bey not going anywhere until Bey decides to. No chick can compete with her, not even diva JHud. She may have strong pipes but she doesn't have the right songs or the moves like Bey. LOL@ "beyhive*

Re: Is Beyonce a legend? This generation's greatest entertainer?

No she is not a legend.......

i also agree with TAVARES' comment.

Beyonce is a sensationally talented performer. Absolutely. No doubt. Performer yes, artist , no.

I agree with that insightful commentary by a Time music critic about Beyonce. As far as artistry, I think Lauryn Hill was the last hip-hop rnb artist that truly deserved the Grammy accolade she got.

Ms Hill is head and shoulders above Mrs. Carter.

Artistry is in the eye of the Beyholder. ;)

Re: Is Beyonce a legend? This generation's greatest entertainer?

"4" has to be my fave Beyonce record though.

Mine too. There are only 1 or 2 songs I won't listen to, but the other 13 I will. I've been into "Rather Die Young" a lot lately.

I am the biggest Beyonce fan (bias because she's from Houston XD) but one area I think she needs help with is her interview skills. A lot of artists lack that. The words and phrasing and how they stumble to try to find the right word. I cringe when she's asked a difficult question. lol

Ellen lacks this as well and she's the interviewer! And she has to do this every day! She stumbles, stutters and trails off at the end of her questions. lol It's funny how after so many years, she can't get it right. I still love her though.

@Huntneo Beyonce did a charity thing at the UN for World Humanitarian Day (August 19th) where she sang "I Was Here". She sounds great live (lol like she wouldn't), I just don't like it.

Ha, can't believe I've never seen this! And she's sitting (in one of those grossly uncomfortable hospital chairs)! Ahhh! I thought I saw Kelly Rowland in the back @ 2:07. Poor gal! Always backup to Bey!

Let's not forget this one:

And this is my least favorite song of hers, but this version is amazing. All hail Beyonslay!

Wow. those two are truly amazing! So great.
I just cant stop clicking on REPEAT, REPEAT.
