On Cycle 9, Tyra talked down to Ebony during the elimination. Tyra told Ebony that she can't stand quitters and that she never quit anything in her life.

Uh, Tyra? What happened to your music career? She made one song (Shake Ya Body (I think))... and because the single didn't do well- Tyra QUIT pursuing her music career. What a hypocrite.

I thought what Ebony did was great! She decided that modeling wasn't for her, and decided to leave so the other girls, who REALLY wanted to be there, would have a shot. Tyra should applaud Ebony for at least trying it... but instead embarrasses her.

I kinda want to jump in here and comment on something a little off topic:

I don't watch the Tyra Show, but I happened to peek at it during the episode where the woman brought the Vulva-Puppet on. She was pointing out the different parts (it's important to know what's going on down there) and she pointed the urethra out.

Then Tyra chimes in "It's really important to know that, because most women think they give birth out of the same hole they pee out of."

I had to turn the channel right after that, there is no way that "most" women think they have babies out of their urethra, absolutely not. But Tyra seemed so confident that she was teaching the viewers something new. It was rediculous...did anyone see that episode?

Tyra's always one to drop some serious knowledge--she likes to keep everybody informed ya know.

She does that all the time, I really can't stand it! I don't mind all the crazy faces she makes but she gotta stop bringing up her life stories when interviewing people. I mean we wanna hear their stories & not hers! It seems every time she has some kind of similar experience with whoever she's interviewing, she cuts in & talk about it. Bad talk show host! It's true what Paathogen said, Tyra is obsessed with herself!

On every episode of Top Model, she has to talk about herself. In every conversation, she manages to make it about HER. HER time in Paris. HER hardships. HER covers of Sports Illustrated. Etc etc.

Oh, and if I hear her say "smile with your eyes!" on more time on Top Model, I'm gonna yank her cheap-ass weave out.

"Smile with your eyes" is the best advice I've ever received..I use it on a daily basis. I love Tyra but half the time I have to watch her on mute. The Victoria Secret Show this year was so shitty, no Tyra, Naomi or Gisele...it was a total bore.

Oh, and speaking of Tyra's music *ahem* "career"... when the girls (Top Model) were practicing dancing for the Enrique Video...

Tyra goes- (I'm paraphrasing)- "I've been in several music videos..." and she goes on to list 2 or 3.... but guess what? She never lists HER OWN!! Hahahaha.

And to top it all off... apparently, there were two different versions Enrique made... one with the Top Model girls and one without. Guess which one MTV ran? Yup, the one WITHOUT.

If I was one of those girls- I'd be pissed! Hahaha. During the shoot, they were all like "Ooh, I'm gonna dance with Enrique!" and " *Swoon* I'm gonna be in a video with Enrique!"

and then the video actually airs.... "WTF!!!!"

She needs to slow down. I like her but she needs to step off of the music scene for a little while. I'm sure her B-day tour hasn't long been over and it's only been a couple years since that album came out. I don't want her to over do it like Justin Timberlake who we just hear TOO MUCH of. She should take a year long break and then come back with a vengeance. But I know she won't. She's obviously a workaholic.

Whatever she releases I hope she avoids using Timberland because he's someone else we've heard enough from for a good 5 years as far as I'm concerned. Plus he has a tendency to overshadow most of the artists he works with. With Justin who doesn't have a personality beyond what Timberland has designed for him it's fine, but for Beyonce it wouldn't be so nice. It'd be similar to Nelly Furtado's last effort; some nice songs, but after a while you forget who you're even listening to.

Actually timbaland has signed on to produce a majority of beyonces new album.

Beautiful nightmare sounds like a parody song of beautiful liar, something madtv would do.

Oh great, here we go then. Not surprising though. It's always whatever producer is most popular at the time. Neptunes, Kayne West, whoever. Just hope the album turns out good...and doesn't have Beautiful Nightmare on it. I agree about the Madtv thing. I love their parodies by the way, haha.

and i also heard she is abondoning her R&B sound in favor for a more dance floor oriented album...
