Everyone else is allowed to share things from their viewpoint, but I'm not?

I try to update on the more interesting things. Yes, Libra and April talk about other things from time to time... people back home, etc. but those things don't interest me, so I don't type updates for them. There's no ulterior motive. I simply try to include the more interesting things that are funny or directly relevant to the game. When I say that April and Libra have nothing good to say about Angie/Steven/Dan, it's 100% truth. That doesn't mean they're complete bitches to every person in the house, but to those three, yes... they most certainly are. There's no misconstruing that. 99% of the fans are seeing the same things I'm seeing, and the vast majority absolutely cannot stand Libra and April for the same reasons. TRUTH.

I'd also like you to know that there are four cameras, and it's very difficult to pick up every conversation that's happening on every camera at all times, much less type them out in update form in a way that actually makes sense. It's pretty difficult actually, but I know y'all appreciate it, so I do it. If you think Jokers is so much better, maybe you should just post there and leave this thread alone.

Then again, you could just get the feeds and just see it all for yourself. Maybe then you wouldn't have to rely ungratefully on updates that you consider to be "wrong."

I'm face oriented too. I love Wentworth Miller's face and hate his body. His face overrides his body in my book!

If I would have seen Jesse walking down the streets, my heart would have skipped a beat. But to find out that he's seriously doing modeling and is a reality TV whore, I would think his face would be much better.

His face isn't ugly. It's just weird looking.

And trust me, he knows this. I have friends that are doing the modeling and portfolios and some have jacked up faces. They know they do despite their cocky persona.

Psych 101 says that arrogance/cockiness is a sign of insecurity. Despite having a nice body, I'm leaning towards thinking Jesse has a small penis because there is no reason for him to be so full of himself.

Jessie has a workout video with Ward from USA Muscle and Strengthnet.com. The preview I saw was some really hard lifting. He's been around so I don't think he's as dumb as we first thought.

I did it for another forum (I don't think JUB would like me mentioning names) for 3 seasons between 4-6 and absolutely loved and hated it. I loved watching the feeds, as I do to this day, but transcribing the feeds for the first 5 weeks or so, until it got down to about 8-10 people, where there were 2 or 3 clear-cut alliances and those people would stay with those people, it was a major pain.

And aij, we understand you're not on the side of what the 'majority' thinks here at JUB, but don't try and trash someone for doing their damnest to help you, who don't have the feeds, understand what's happening. If you don't like the way Soapy does, there's hundreds of other forums you can go to, just don't let the door hit you on your way out.

Yeah and I'm pretty confident it'll be Dan and Steven.

Jesse probably knows that everyone wants Steven to go and wants him out. I think Jesse sincerely wants Dan to be safe. I can See Angie successfully pulling Dan with her to the Memphis/Jesse alliance. The big question will be what will happen if the veto is used... will Jesse stay true to his word and protect Angie?!

considering the possibilities I'm sure Allison will make sure the veto's used.

Well now I think that's unnecessary. If a forum is full of people who agree it's quite dull and boring. If one is afraid to hear opinions opposite their own it only means their own are too weak and they're afraid that they may be shown to be wrong.

I do believe all are welcome here but it does seem rude to insult someone who's transcribing something you'd typically have to pay for.

Well Renny would be the replacement Libra and co would want if Angie used the veto. But if it's used by anyone but Angie Libra and co would push for Angie. Then we'd see if Jesse has more balls than Jerry.

I didnt mean to attack anyone. But I really did feel misled at the time, and just reacted. it is great that soap transcibes so much w/o being asked but it is so slanted. And it is soap's prerogative to put his two-bob in wherever he chooses, but i just wanted others to know it wasn't exactly as it is described here.

Some people get all their info here thinking it is merely a straightforward update. I never said it was lies. It is pretty damn accurate for the most part.

But like I said it's cherry picked to favor people that soap and others favor, I just wanted people like me that try to be objective and focus merely on strategy and gameplay to know that. Even with Steven I would be objective with his gameplay. But he's a horrible player too. Zeros across the board.

Well he doesn't play the game but there hasn't been any representation here that he does that's why I don't understand how you feel misled.

And I really think when summaries include teh phrased "That whore" and "those bitches" no one would assume that it's meant to be a completely impartial take.

As far as gameplay goes no ones been playing the game because it's far too early for anythign like that. BB is not like other reality shows in that BB the player who plays best is he who plays least. It's a game for floaters so I really don't think anyone's been playing poorly except Brian who overplayed, Jerry who showed himself to be a complete doormat, and Steven who hasn't been playing at all.

You could say Dan also but wouldn't go that far. He knew he was screwed and rather than make a last ditch effort that was bound to fail he took a stand in a way that will strengthen his word and enable him elicit confidence when he makes deals in the future, like he was doing with Jesse.

And in reality I don't really fault Steven, Angie, or Dan for not following in line and taking marching orders. Sometimes you need to just take a stand, hope you win HOH and play your own game.

Oh for the love of god! Are you reading my responses at all? I explicitly said I didn't think I was more experienced than you and that my age and travel experience had nothing to do with it. (And the latter was something YOU brought up, not me)

When I say you're light on racism, I mean that you expect it to be BLATANTLY OBVIOUS for it to be identifiable and it's often not. That's why you pooh poohed the "colored woman" and "big black buck" statements and -- and I don't know how many times I can say this -- you were wrong on both. This is why the movie Crash misses the point entirely. Don't you think FalconFan, that since -- by your own admission -- you grew up with people who harbored racist comments or prejudices that it's possible, just possible, that maybe you (though certainly not racist yourself) have not been given the tools to identify it in all of its forms? That you have calibrated incorrectly and that you expect it to be obvious in order for it to be truly racist? That you being completely wrong about Steven just might mean something larger? That you are unable to spot racism when it's more subtle? Can't you even concede this one point, given your background and (more importantly) the fact that you were wrong about this one person? Because let me assure you, to people like me and aiijalon, the "colored woman" and "big black buck" comments were obviously fucking raically loaded terms if not outright racist. We weren't shocked at all when Steven went on to make a horribly racist joke about blacks and Mexicans. But you were surprised, and that should tell you something.

Also, your first reaction was to defend the person making the racist remark and you even became annoyed with someone (aijalon) who dared to label someone who makes a racist remark as -- and this is mind boggling in terms of logic -- racist. Instead of worrying about the racist person, did you ever stop to think about how aijalon would feel? Or any other person of color? You dismissed him as if he had no right to feel insulted (he even said he almost felt he was making a big deal out of it and should shut up, until I joined in) -- you shamed him and so did others on this board, to the point that he was almost silenced. You shamed the party that had every right to feel insulted, and didn't even bother holding the insulting party responsibile. THAT'S what I mean by being too light.

And my point remains. A racist person can still have good qualities and be an otherwise terrific person. But making racist remarks and jokes etc. does make that person a racist. And you were initially denying that. So what is racism then? Violence? Outright hate? Jim Crow laws? These are extreme examples my friend, but certainly not the requirement. Even those in your family (and mine) who have made racist comments and jokes are -- yes, I will say it -- racist. It doesn't make them horrible people but it does make them racist. And you were trying to deny even that simple logic (amazing, and only in America does illogic become the standard medium of defintion) because you say the word "racist" unfairly lumps people into a category. Oh, right. And the racist joke or comemnt doesn't do the same thing to an entirely innocent group of people? Come on dude!

Perhaps a lot of people would want to read all the stuff going on in BB. I am not one of them. This beautiful thread that abounds with opinions, tell-tales, abbreviations of the goings on is so good for me since I only watch the CBS show and a lot of SHO AD. I am very grateful for it all.

All right, I hear you loud and clear. I read threw your "10 paragraph post" as I labled them (which I won't do anymore) and see just how right you are. For the racist comments, they never should have came out of Steven's mouth. The Mexican/black guy joke with the cop wasn't funny and Steven really should watch it as it does no good for his game play and his character. Besides, it's just not true regardless.

My mother is always using the Jewish comments, the Turks comments since we're greek, and anything out of the book. I gotta say she's a racist with really great qualities and I think that's one of the points you were making to FalconFan, that those comments alone make you racist no matter who you are or what type of personality you have.

Also, your not crazy to have this debate on this thread or in this forum. It's awesome that you stood up for this and clearly your full of passion. You taught me that even in a fun and games area like this thread, it's still important to point out the wrong and corrrect it.

I'm going to read over your posts from now on because judging from your knowledge and vocabulary you obviously have a lot more experiance then I do. Not only that, it's time I stop being lazy about these sort of things and participate as well for my own experiance and understanding. For that, I want to say thanks and sorry for my post earlier.
