Is it possible they haven't figured out that America is casting the 7th vote? That's the only reason I could see for Kevin not realizing that Jordan is a bigger threat to him winning than Natalie.
and bitch, even if she shifted one over, she would have still been one short...dang, i dont know what would make her feel worse. losing one point to Jordan, or by 4...
I love the live audience ever since Natalie won HoH they let the contempt for her be known. When she won there was a huge gasp of disapointment. This week cheering Jordan on. I wonder if the houseguests can hear them during the live shows.
Nothing much happened on the feeds today except for Kevin confronting Natalie about some of her lies. He also pissed her off by defending Michele and saying she made a smart move by nominating Chima, LoL. He was like, "Why do you consider Michele evil for making moves in the game but you thought Ronnie was great?"
I LOVE Kevin! He's so much smarter than the yahoos he was tied to in the game (and smarter than some people in this thread).
What about Natalie's potential jury vote? Has he basically conceded that at this point? He's speaking up now because he's unencumbered by game restraints as delineated through his relationship with Natalie. Now that she cannot win the Final HOH, he doesn't have to worry about her evicting him, he only has to worry about Jordan (or win it himself). In other words, he no longer has to pretend to find Natalie's hateful remarks funny, he no longer has to make excuses for Chima, and he no longer has to hide the fact that he thinks Jessie and Ronnie were douchebags who got exactly what they deserved.
I'm really glad that I called Michele and Kevin early on as players who I would probably enjoy and who would go far in the game. Both of them made it to F4 and Kevin looks like he might go all the way (and had Michele won the F4 HOH, or had Kevin taken her deal, we might have had a Michele/Kevin F2). Michele turned out to be a disappointing player (in that she had no game) but she was still a lovely person, extremely intelligent, and way more stable/even keeled than most of the houseguests. Kevin was also similarly even-keeled but he also played the best game this season and for that -- and for not being an asshole -- he deserves to win.
And this is why I am so impressed with Kevin: in a season when so many people were either on Team Jessie (Ronnie/Chima/Lydia/Natalie) or Team Jeff (Jordan/Michele/Casey) or Team Jessie AND Jeff (Russell), Kevin was instead always firmly on Team KEVIN. He played for himself, and that is not something you can say of Natalie until Jessie was evicted, and not something you can say for Jordan at all.
When Kevin won his first POV, he could have used it on Lydia but he smartly folded and chose to remain out of conflict. That move alone, fairly early in the game, told me had killer instincts and cutthroat potential and thus he could go far (and I said so in this thread at the time). Kevin was never firmly part of any click, and he had no problem permeating alliances, and that's what made his game-play so impressive.
Remember that Kevin voted out Jessie even though the rest of his team would have gladly sacrificed Natalie to keep Jessie. In fact it was Kevin's swing vote that kicked Jessie out of the house and anyone who hates Jessie (most of us) should remember that, and not be too hard on Kevin just because he aligned with Natalie so he could get further in the game; a win for him would not be a win for that side of the House because Kevin was never playing for that side of the House.
And just as he knifed Jessie, Kevin had no problem knifing the other alpha male who threatened to dominate the house. Kevin hoodwinked Jeff, broke his deal, and ultimately pulled off Jeff's eviction. Just when you think you know what side Kevin is on, he manages to take out the leader (Jessie, then Jeff) for that side. And that's because he was never REALLY with any of them, not even Lydia. A win for Kevin would be just that: a win for Kevin. And I can't think of a better outcome for BB11.
Kevin's disparaging/hilarious DR about Jessie's widows, his live feed criticism of Jeff, and his recent live-feed attack on Jessie, Chima & Ronnie (and therefore ultimately Natalie) now that he doesn't have to worry about Nat evicting him, proves that he always saw these jackasses the way most of us level-headed people saw them. He was only in cahoots with one side or the other when it suited his game needs at the time.
If Kevin wins, he may be the first pure floater to win since BB4's Jun and I hope to god it happens. If he wins the Final HOH and picks Jordan, I hope Michele puts aside the bitterness of her own eviction, places Kevin's excellent game-play above her emotional ties to dopey-Jordan, and gives him the fourth vote to win (I assume he would have Jessie/Russell/Lydia in that scenario). That would be a satisfying end for me: the two players I liked the most -- and noticed early on -- finally (and indirectly) working together to redeem the season. I didn't get see them together in the F2 like I wanted, but Michele giving Kevin the win would be enough for me.
