If Kevin fully trusts Jordan, maybe he should let Jordan do the dirty work of evicting Natalie.

^ I thought exactly that, then he'd still have Natalie's vote (most likely). However if I was in their shoes in the final 3 i would be doing everything in my power to win that HOH, I wouldn't be trusting even my best friend in the house when it comes down to half a million bucks!

(Which makes Natalie a dumbass idiot for HOH round 1)

I hate them both equally, but Jessie is at least aware that America hates him and doesn't pretend otherwise (and I don't remember him thinking that America loved him last season either). Natalie however is in the grand tradition of delusional assholes like BB6 April/Ivette/Maggie, BB8 Amber, BB9 Joshua and BB10 April (what is with that name?) who were all convinced that they were the stars of the show, despite their vile personalities and all the evidence to the contrary (America's Choices etc).

I agree, I think Jessie knows he can be an arrogant dick sometimes and clearly doesn't want to change that. Natalie is almost unreal in her own delusions, like proclaiming she won HoH by sticking to her word! So her and Kevin lying to Jeff was 'sticking to her word?' In the UK BB contestants are cheered or booed when they leave so they have an indicator on how they've been percieved by the public, shame it doesn't happen in this version.

Also, I noticed that on Thursday's show Danielle praised Natalie's lie to Jeff about Rusell? But wasn't that thought of and executed by Kevin?

I said the same thing last week
I'm forever doing that; I don't know how many times I've thought of great paper topics (or whatever) three months after the class has ended. :)
Obviously taking Nat to the end would be smarter for Jordan, but that's not even why she'd do it; she would evict Kevin because he "betrayed" Jeff, and she would take Nat because Jeff told her "stick with Nat" before he left, and we all know Jordan doesn't have a mind of her own.
Two things. 1) I'm leery of underestimating Jordan after her triumph on Thursday. (Given the low expectations, I think 'triumph' is fully warranted :)) It doesn't erase her earlier foolishness, but it does show that, on occasion, she is capable to a certain degree.* Who knows what she'll come up with on her own?

Related to that, she won part 2 on her own, with no Jeff (or anyone on her side) around. Which makes me wonder whether she's actually smarter than Jeff, and does that thing where women act dumb to make their suitors feel smarter. I don't know if that's true (and I obviously have no way of knowing) but it did cross my mind.

2) Screw the whole "more science and math" bullshit; what this country needs is more good old-fashioned liberal arts education. Nik, you're right about that preposterous "betrayal" scenario; it doesn't make a lick of sense, so it's right up Jordan's alley. I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that these people have never had a serious discussion of ethics that ever progressed past the cliché, proverb, or bromide.

PATMAN is exactly right when he says:
I wouldn't be trusting even my best friend in the house when it comes down to half a million bucks!
The normal rules of ethics do not fully apply in this house. The degree to which traditional mores are suspended is open to debate (healthy debate, in my view), but few of these house guests seem to have the tools to even begin that discussion. So, how representative is this group? I'm not sure I want to know the answer.

* It strikes me that Jordan is probably very good at what she does. I think waiting tables is a skill that has been unfairly maligned, or at least trivialized. I can think of any number of times where an otherwise shitty day has been brightened by a friendly waiter; having that sort of impact on people has got to be more fulfilling than being a middle management paper-pusher.

I'm glad Jordan creamed her but that's like a chicken beating a penguin in a flying contest.

LOL @ that quote. It's pretty damn accurate.

I don't know if I posted since Michele was evicted but I'm not sure if it was smart for Kevin to evict her or not yet. I believe Michele would have taken Kevin to the final 2 and Kevin would have won and I'm sure Kevin knew that but I understand he didn't want to take the risk.

I'm crushed that Michele didn't make it to the end but it's her own damn fault. I didn't see any effort other then her explaining in a routine speech to Kevin in the back yard why he should keep her.

Jordan doesn't deserve to win, but I want to see her win only because she's so damn cute. She's like a blind little mouse. :)

Let's face it, Kevin's going to win and I'm damn proud of him. He played a near perfect game, won the competitions he needed to win, and solidified his title as a great game player when he sold the lie to Jeff.

The second competition was clean cut for Jordan to win thanks to Grodner. I believe that down to my bones.

I guess that's it, other then Fuck Natale. Go back to Dracula's castle.

Jordan's jury speech would be quite interesting. That's for sure. More interesting than usual considering it'll all be live.

I know I said earlier in the thread that Jordan might win because of her personality, but I never thought she'd actually make it to the F2. It's kind of bewildering now to think she might actually take it.

Jordan definitely does NOT deserve to win the half mil over Kevin (or even Natalie, sadly enough). So I'm hoping that if Kevin takes Jordan then Michele will have enough common sense (erm...) to vote for him instead of being a Bitter Betty and handing that shit over to Jordan on a silver platter.

Unfortunately I really don't see Michele voting for Kevin to win.

I hope Janie's keeping track. I heard she's writing a book on BB Trivia. That's right, she's a writer now. She's read every single book on the planet so now she's turning her attention to writing.

She's translating all the international editions herself. As I type this, she is in Manila brushing up on her Tagalog. She tried studying at home, but found some errors in Rosetta Stone and lost confidence in it.

Next in her to-do list is to contact the Rosetta Stone people and let them know about these errors. She secretly hopes they will rename the popular language tool after her. Which shouldn't be difficult once she shows them that she actually created most of the modern languages herself.

You are far too limiting. Excavations in Mycenae have turned up paintings of someone who looks strangely like Janelle, accompanied by the words "BYE BYE, BITCHES" rendered in flawless Linear B.

I have to say, that if we do get a Natalie/Jordan finale (which I doubt) I'd much rather see Jordan win. Don't get me wrong, Natalie has played a much better game than Jordan. She's plotted and strategised while Jordan let Jeff carry her through the game, but I can't stand the idea of a person like Natalie winning the half a million. To her that will be a justification of her vile personality and treatment of others.

So even if she's undeserving, Jordan is ultimately a good person (though I'm aware that's not what the game is about) and I'd rather see her win on that merit.

I kind of hope it is Kev and Nat because I want to know what the jurors think of Nat. What can you say about Jordan? Meh!

I am still hoping for Kev all the way, final HoH may end up being the thing that sways the jury.

I think alot of that is all for the cameras, honestly. They might be a little pissed at her, but when it comes right down to it, I think she would win the money if she was sitting next to Kevin. It's just what my gut tells me, LoL.

ITA!

Jessie's an ass and I can see him voting for Natalie. Jeff is annoyed by Kevin, so I can see him voting for Natalie as well. Michele hates Kevin, so he ain't getting her vote.

Russel said he was hoping Kevin would win before even Michele was out of the house. Michele in her Ross Matthews interview she wanted to see Natalie leave next and that she Nat was the person she wouldn't want to see when she's out. She hates her and Russel doesn't like her either. Lydia has ALWAYS hated her. America clearly hates her. Bitch is not winning. They have no respect for her. THey all expected that Michele to win. Now that she's gone I'm sure they'll expect Kevin to take it.

It was still a dull season for me though. Most weeks I just tried to avoid them because there was crazy ass flip flopping that pissed me off or crazy ass idiots in power.

Really? Because even when Michele TRIED to strong arm Kevin by saying she needed his vote and would lose it, her dislike for Nat was so strong that like an hour later she was, without even realizing, talking about how much she hated Natalie and how she's the last person she'd want to win. Michele was an incredibly good sport about all her abuse and made a joke out of it. I just don't see her as being the bitter type. I can see her voting for someone like Jordan because she was her friend rather than because she earned it. So I see her as irrational in that way. I don't see her as irrational in the sense that she'd hate someone for making a gamemove at her expense.

Agreed.

Jeff might be annoyed by Natalie, but at the end of the day, she's not the one who got rid of him -- Kevin was. Same goes for Michele.

Did you hear what Rus and Jessie said two weeks ago. You have to consider voting for the person who voted you out because it was a good play. I think by Natalie disavowing her role in ANYONE'S evictions will only lead them to conclude they did shit and not respect her. Juries LOVE to beat the shit out of people who they think don't belong in that chair (ie people who are in the place the juror perceive as THEIRS with little or no reason to be there)
