The Official "Big Brother 12" Discussion Thread!

Oh yay! Come on Brendan! Put up Matt!!

I knew BB would not disappoint. Pretzels my ass, it was the producers in the DR coaxing him to put up Matt so Matt would use the Diamond.

This doesn't mean Brit is out of the water but as falconfan pointed out, it's her only shot to stay. Hopefully once Matt is up, the Brigade will start campaigning to save Lane, and Matt will see that they don't have his back. Which will be just in time for him to use his sparkly.

Salemite, thanks for returning to the BB thread and thanks for the awesome updates!

Maybe Ragan is in love w/ Matt? He's certainly got his head stuck up the dude's ass for some reason.

I hope Matt is nominated too. I wanna see that diamond veto pulled outta his ass on Thurs nite.

I just used 'ass' twice. Calling Dr. Freud.

I hope this week allows Matt to see who in the brigade really has his back and who doesn't.

Hopefully word will get back to him somehow that Hayden/Enzo are planning to vote him out and he'll use the DPOV to save himself and put Enzo on the block. Or Hayden. Or Kathy. Anyone but Britney.

Please BB gods, make this happen. In Grodner's name I pray. Amen.

^ Mazel Tov

Yes, anyone but Brit
she's about the only 'life of the party' left in the game because Enzo's shtik is getting old and the rest of them are plum pitiful

The feeds are back.

Ragan used the veto on himself.

*****MATT IS ON THE BLOCK*****

Matt is strongly hinting to brigade that there's a "secret power" in play and they have nothing to worry about but the guys are too dense to get his clues.

Talk about playing your hand too early...

He needs to sit back, shut up and use this as an opportunity to see where everyone stands.

LoL @ Britney asking Enzo and Hayden "which one of you told Brendon to put me up?" (Brendon told her that people were pushing for him to put her on the block but he didn't tell her who. It was Ragan.)

(!) thank you [STRIKE]Brendon[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]CBS[/STRIKE] Grodner

should be an interesting eviction night

I love this. I love that Matt is up and has a power, and will now have to use that power and hopefully just shuts the fuck up.

I have to say this because I feel extremely bad that I was the cause of Salemite deciding not to post here this BB season. I didn't know that was the reason, but I feel I should openly apologize to each and everyone of you for this. I will keep my confrontations to zero from here on out. Just my opinions on what I see and how I feel about them, and nothing personal to anyone.

I'm so glad we both like Britney and that she's more popular online than the show would have you believe.

Well Part I of What I'd Love to See Happen This Week went off without a hitch. Matt went up. He's destined to use the Diamond now and I just have to see if Part II will go off as smoothly (with Matt putting up Kathy and NOT Britney).

Dare I hope for Part III, in which Matt realizes the Brigade is turning on him and backdoors one of them instead?

Some people on other sites are alling Ragan a weasel snd a bad person in real life for cozying up to Rachel and then backstabbing her first chance he got, and now doing the same with Britney. But see as much as I love Britney, Ragan is just playing the game and I can't fault him for being two-faced in what is, quite simply, a game of social strategy.

What I can criticize him for is being unable to read people well and thinking he's playing much better than he actually is. Ragan shouldn't have chosen Britney over Matt because they're friends, he should have chosen Britney over Matt because she's more genuine in wanting to go further in the game with him, and in terms of jury votes should be wanting to sit F2 with Britney, not Matt. That he threw her under the bus to save Matt doesn't make him treacherous in the real world, but it does make him a not-so-good player.

I can't WAIT to see the look on Brenchal's face on thurs nite when he realizes all his HOH nominations are effectively null and void. :rotflmao:

^^ I have to say though, I really don't like these twists. Especially when the houseguests have no idea they're coming and can't even plan a counter-attack. At least on Survivor everyone knows there are idols out there and you can plan to diffuse one by tricking the idol holder into not playing it, or voting for someone else in his alliance.

Had it not been for the Diamond Veto, this would be an awesome week because a Brigade member would be GUARANTEED to go home. The delicious irony would be that Brendan was actually dealing a blow to a major alliance while remaining clueless about that alliance's existence. It would have been great!

Instead, the Brigade will probably remain fully intact and our best case scenario is losing...Kathy?

Brendan can't lose with his nominations. Matt will save himself and put someone else up and that someone will automatically be a person he should want out. Everyone was against him and Rachel so, in essence, he will be getting rid of one person who was against him. I don't think there is a person there that Brendan can trust. Ragan can trust Matt and vice versa, Hayden and Enzo seem to be on the same page although Enzo is such a slag who knows what you can trust about Mr. Soprano. Lane and Britney are playing grade school kids with love tags but don't admit they want to fuck each other to pieces. Kathy is a blank wall.

I hope this Thursday is an Atom bomb in the house and everyone get some sharpnel.

Yes!

Enzo and Hayden have decided that they're going to tell Matt he's going home right before live show Thursday night because they don't want to blindside him and lose his jury vote.

Do it, do it, do it! Give him a reason to put your asses on the block! :)

I doubt it.

If Matt didn't have the DPOV, I think he would've campaigned harder to stay off the block and it probably would've paid off. Brendon's kind of a simpleton so Matt would've been able to work him over, IMO.

Annie on Twitter is pretty annoyed by Ragan's saboteur tasks.

"Just sucks that he gets 20Gs for nothing! I should have said no..maybe they would have handed me 20Gs too!"

"So lame....and I got jack?! ok....well I should have just done lazy damn messages and not been so paranoid."

"Ummmm yeah he didn't do ANYTHING WHERE HE COULD GET CAUGHT!!!! I risked a lot by what I did. So unfair!"

"I think it sucks too! what he had to do was lame and non threatening to his game. whatever......"

I thought this was common knowledge?

Well, pardon moi :( for not being able to read that Ragan was in love w/ Matt, he's so agonizingly dull

I wish Brendon and Rachel had been this down low w/ their disgusting showmance

Ooh, Lane and Hayden are starting to figure out that Matt has a secret power.

Unfortunately, Lane just told Hayden that he would be fine with Matt using whatever secret power he has to send Britney home. :(
