LIVE FEED UPDATE

Britney just told Lane she's putting up Hayden! She said Matt's not coming after her next week but she thinks Hayden and Enzo might. This is of course absolutely true and it proves that Brit has some good instincts but no long-term gameplay and she can too easily be talked out of obeying her instincts. In that sense, she's very much like Rachel.

I hope Lane is unable to talk her out of it and that she doesn't change her mind again by tomorrow.

Good girl. Now I can only hope and pray she sticks to her guns.

It is really up to the DR with her. Everyone knows she has no strategy. But every time she comes out of the DR she wants to put Hayden up. But Lane talks her out of it. It's really fucked up how the DR manipulates the game. It really sucks b/c Matt is barely trying to sway her. He needs to be saving himself not having Ragan and the DR do it for him.

Matt is an idiot for not campaigning harder to stay off the block. He should be doing everything in his power to keep Britney from nominating him. He needs to out the brigade. He has nothing to lose at this point, so why not go balls to the wall and at least TRY to save himself? His attempts at campaigning to Britney have been lame and half-hearted at best.

^Outing the brigade would out him too. Plus he cant burn all bridges with brigade guys. Just in case he stays he doesnt want to be their main target.

FROM JOKERS:

2:15 AM Hayden & Matt both agree that if Brendon makes it to the Final 2 they may have to vote for him to win, because they want to vote for the best player and take all the emotion out of it.

They talk about how much Brendon would deserve it if he makes it to the finals, he has had to overcome so much.

Hayden says he would have never believed after all this that he would vote for Brendon to win BB!

2:11 AM Matt & Hayden discuss whether Ragan has thrown competitions...they mention the surfboard & paint bucket HOH compsHayden says it would have been a lot better if Ragan had won the paint bucket HOH.

Hayden says you can'y play what-ifs in this game though.

Matt "What a mess, I gotta get him (Ragan) up" He says that the whole house will want Ragan to go up and then Brit won't make any enemies putting him up. Matt says he just has to work really hard to keep Ragan out of the HOH. Hayden tells him that as soon as he hears the music, him and Lane will go up there.

Hayden thinks it is a good idea to squash it with Brendon, Hayden says even when they are out of the house they'll have to do functions together. Matt says he isn't going to hold anything against Brendon outside the house.

2:05 AM Matt "Ragan needs to stay out of there all day (HOH) and we need to be up there hammering" on Brit to put up RaganHayden just listens a lot when Matt is speaking and interjects a "yeah" here and there

Matt asks him what Brit was talking about up there....He asks point blank if he thinks Brit is more apt to put him or Ragan up. Hayden tells him she is leaning towards Matt, he is just being honest with him. Matt doesn't like to hear that.

Hayden "You punked me last week dude" Hayden starts to ask Matt if "They" made him do something....bubbles...
2:02 AM Matt is wondering if Hayden & Enzo can plant the seed in Brendon's head that Matt isn't that badMatt asks Hayden if he should go up to Brendon and act like he knows he is going home this week (Matt) and tell Brendon that his vote in the Jury is still up for grabs, he will vote for the best player, and maybe then Brendon won't think Matt is that bad of a guy. Then Hayden can start dropping Ragan's name to Brendon, that they should push to send him home, and maybe he'll be more apt to jump on board with voting out Ragan.

Hayden thinks it couldn't hurt for Matt to make Brendon think that he could potentially still get his Jury vote.

1:56 AM Matt says if they can ride this out and keep Ragan out of the HOH until 11 am (Veto ceremony) then they have a chance to save the BG.Matt asks Hayden if Brit is still up. Hayden thinks she is asleep. Matt says he'll wait then till the morning to talk to her.

Matt says if this works then it is the Brigade left with Brendon and Britney and they will go after each other. "The Brigade is off the radar, it's awesome"

Matt "Final 4, it's totally doable"

Hayden asks him how close Ragan is with Brit, Matt says she is close but she is no closer to Ragan than she is with him.
1:51 AM Matt says it would be better for Hayden to go up against Brendon because Enzo would be forced to vote against Brendon, and he would lose Brendon's Jury vote.

Matt says that Enzo and Lane are going talk to Brit about this plan.
1:49 AM Hayden & Matt talking in the bathroom. Matt is talking about the big BG plan (to put up Ragan) to Hayden.Hayden is playing along like he is on board with the plan.

So now Matt is throwing his squalling bromance under the train. He wants Ragan up instead of himself.

I go away on vacation for a week and still same boring shit. I really hope that Britney puts up Hayden. I am getting sick of his DR shouting, and I am hoping Enzo goes home. He acts like he is the best player in the house, and he completely sucks.

^Outing the brigade would out him too. Plus he cant burn all bridges with brigade guys. Just in case he stays he doesnt want to be their main target.

What do burning those bridges matter if he gets evicted this week? It's do or die time for Matt. Previously, he could keep straddling the fence between both alliances but now the Brigade has already thrown him under the bus (bridges already burnt, and not by Matt) and he's going home unless he gives Britney a better option.

If Matt pitched it right ("I was never really part of their group, I just made them think that. I was always with you and Ragan. And oh yeah last week I didn't throw you under the bus cuz I knew I had the diamond, but the rest of them -- including Lane -- tried to get Brendan to put you up. Oh and speaking of the diamond, remember how I used it and DIDN'T nominate you even though they all wanted you up there?") -- Matt could indeed out the Brigade and have the rest of the House turn on the obvious three strong alpha males. Salemite is absolutely correct: Matt should be fighting harder to sway Britney and he should sacrifice the Brigades to do it.

Matt keeps a target in the house and Matt AND Ragan keep a target that's bigger than her. i honestly would say her best interest is to try and get to a final three with Ragan and Brendon OR Raan would bring Brit. Brendon MIGHT. She'd stand a chance against either of them and Ragan would likely take the first round of HOH. Either way though Lane, Enzo, Hayden are firmly together she needs to break that up and hopefully shake Lane out so he needs to rely on her.

You pretty much said exactly what I said in a previous post. LOL. And to add to that, the live POV comps on double eviction night are usually more physical...not exactly Brit's game.

Simply put, if Britney puts Matt up and he goes this week, she has an excellent chance of following him out the door.

I don't like Matt personally, and game-wise Britney certainly shouldn't go to F3 with Matt and Ragan. However, it's all about next week right now and she's absolutely better off keeping Matt around next week than Enzo/Hayden (same reason she should NEVER have nominated Brendan to begin with). If Matt wins HOH next week, he'll go after Brendan first because he knows he's Brendan's target as well. She can't trust Matt/Ragan for F3 endgame, but she can trust that next week Matt/Ragan have other targets.

But if Hayden/Enzo win HOH, they're more likely to go after Britney first (especially Enzo). The person who most wanted Britney out desperately last week -- and would have evicted her this week had he won HOH -- is Enzo. Breaking those two up also gives Lane less options and he's more likely then to form a real alliance with her.

Basically, she's making the wrong move for herself if she does anything other than trying to ensure that Hayden or Enzo go home.
This is exactly the way I see it too, only difference...I kind of like Matt.

Lane would like to keep Brit around...but he won't put up much, if any, of a struggle to keep her if the boys want to evict her. Lane is surprising me at how easy it is for him to manipulate Brit in the wrong direction...because it suits him. I thought he actually kind of liked her and wanted her to advance...wrong. He's way more loyal to E & H...trouble is Lane is odd man out with them.

and...I also agree with your's and Falconfan's posts above about her keeping Matt works to her advantage...no sense in me repeating it all.

Lane stresses Brit out...she needs to realize that, but she won't. She should trust her instincts but for some reason she becomes an idiot when Lane is around and falls for his unsound advice and strategies. She was perfectly calm yesterday when she decided to keep Matt...then Lane came along and changed it all...and stressed her out.

Actually I think Enzo is odd man out with Lane and Hayden.

Odd thing about Lane is that he jokingly tells the truth and everybody laughs at it rather than taking him seriously. Lane had that bedroom talk with Ragan (called RAGon on Survivor Sucks) and pretty much got all the info he needed from Ragan. At that time Ragan was pissed at Matt because of his lost opportunities and his throwing the last HoH competition. But true love wins the day and Ragan was right back licking Matt's ass and balls (no dick as yet since Ragan has to prove his undying love by allowing them to oust him instead of Matt) seconds later.

The tv show last night was a little much to take with Ragan's faces which is basically the crying jag face he wears most of the time when they played for h/hn.

If Matt does stay he still needs to be on good terms with them b/c he could lose their votes. It would make no sense to out the brigade unless he was on the block. Even then it would be a dickhead move to out the brigade. It's such a bratty, childish thing to do. Plus if Matt goes it wouldnt really make much difference who know about the Brigade. They'd still have the numbers to run the game. Britnet cant play HOH. Ragan and Brendon hate each other, they wont all of a sudden team up just b/c there's the Brigade.

Matt cant spin anything to Brit saying he was always more with her. It's clearly not true. She's stupid but not that stupid. He would look even more desperate and not believable. Plus why would she believe anything Matt says over the other boys? She barely speaks to Matt. She might not even believe in the existence of the brigade. why should she? Just b/c Matt told her? And even if she does, as far as she knows they never targeted her so why would she target them?

But you could get your wish. It really depends on the DR. It's obvious they want Matt to stay. Dont they usually have the replacement nom by now?

How sad that Matt finds it so easy to throw Ragan under the bus. I would love for Ragan to find out. But he's such a d dummy he wouldnt even believe it.

Dude, Matt is going up and GOING HOME unless he gets Britney not to put him up. If he goes up there is no way he will stay over Enzo because Lane, Hayden and Brendan are ready to vote him out. He is DONE if he doesn't convince her to keep him off the block and if he has no other options, outing the Brigade may be his last shot. You can't worry about seeming childish (that argument makes no sense to me since its all about saving yourself) or preserving an alliance that won't matter if you get voted out!

Furthermore, the Brigade have already burned their bridges with Matt so he won't be any worse off. Enzo, Lane and Hayden have already thrown him under the bus to Britney so what's left to preserve with them? He may as well save himself because being in the Brigade won't matter if he's sitting in the jury house. Hell it doesn't even matter NOW since the Brigade isn't protecting him.

I'm not talking about disliking one player or liking another. I'm talking about what is clearly best for Britney next weak, and -- in is case -- what Matt should be doing to save himself.

Matt is pitching this all wrong right now in the HOH room. Britney basically just told him he's going up and going home and she's giving him BS reasons for it, and all he's doing is debating those BS reasons. Memo to Matt: the reasons don't matter! It's just BS she's saying to you. You need to tell her why it's good for HER GAME to keep you! Tell her those three guys are coming after her, and Brendan is coming after her, her whole life next week will depend on Ragan winning HOH or Britney winning POV, unless she keeps you in the game!

God Britney is so dense on this and Matt is dense too for not pitching it. it's not rocket science. If Matt stays, he's still Brendan's #1 target, Brendan is still Matt's #1 target, and Enzo (who wants Britney out before Brendan) won't be there to win HOH and target her. It's so fucking obvious and neither of these two are talking about it.

You dont have a valid point. If he does keep himself off the block ratting out the brigade is a bad idea. He still needs to be cool with them for jury votes. There's no point in him staying if he cant get votes at the end b/c he was a crybaby who ratted out the brigade b/c he didnt get his way. It's not about just getting to the end, he needs votes. If he pissed all the brigade guys off he wouldnt win against anyone.

$50,000 is better than nothing, and there's no guarantee he would lose all their votes, depending on who he's in the finals with. They certainly can't blame him for saving himself when they already turned on him.

You're basically asking someone to preserve alliances for later on in a game which they won't be present to play in because they stuck to those alliances. You can't worry about an abstract concept in Step 5 if there's a certainty you won't get past Step 3.
