The Official "Big Brother 12" Discussion Thread!

Sounds like the POV ceremony is coming up. Matt has NOT made a good pitch to Britney thus far, Britney has been called to the DR and Matt was not the last person she talked to. If Britney doesn't put up Matt, it will clearly be because of DR manipulation. Nothing she said thus far indicates she realized the necessity (for her game) of keeping Matt this week, and Matt did not make that clear or convincing to her.

If Matt avoids this replacement nomination and makes it to the finals, let's all remember this moment whenever Matt claims to be a "diabolical super-genius." Whatever dude.

I have to say, I will be worried if Matt goes up because it's not good for Britney but I certainly won't miss Matt's smug mug in that house. And if I have to lose Britney next week -- and I probably will --at least I'll get the satisfaction of Matt realizing he's not a super genius or a great player (I'm so tired of BB fans this season proclaiming him one).

You know who's actually playing the best game thus far and doing it so quietly that no one is noticing? HAYDEN. He has pleasantly surprised me by not being an asshole alpha jock, he has avoided being a major target despite fitting the profile of major targets (the fact that he played the pawn all week to KRISTIN is pretty fucking amazing, it almost always goes the other way on BB), and he had genuinely formed friendships with everyone and is well liked enough to win a jury vote. He is playing a great game and not getting any of the credit with fans that Matt is getting, but if Britney goes on double eviction night, I am totally on Team Hayden. The fact that he has nice pecs is just a bonus.

Oh and I love how Matt hasn't caught the snap that the Brigade ejected him, and Brendan and Britney are both vying to replace him.

FEEDS ARE BACK. SOUNDS LIKE MATT IS UP!!

Countdown to Britney's eviction...

Damn it. I like Matt better than Enzo & Hayden. So pretty sure that Matt is going home then. The only people left in the house to vote are Lane, Hayden, Brendan, and Ragan. So unless Matt is able to swing Lane over to his side, he has no chance.

Matt's only hope is Lane. But it doesnt benefit Lane to keep Matt. Lane isnt anyone's number one target so he really doesnt need to make a big move like that.

It would be funny to see Matt out the brigade but he's way too cowardly. He would be a poor sport for doing it, but it would be fun to watch. Despite him giving himself so much credit he really is horrible at persuasion and explaining things. The only person who buys his bs is Ragan.

If Ragan tries to get sassy with Brit I hope she let's him know of Matt's betrayal.

Matt has zero hope and if he couldn't convince Britney not to put him up, I doubt he can convince Lane to keep him. And even then, the vote would be tied and he'd still need Britney to break it in his favor, and she seems (stupidly) to want him out.

Indeed his best bet now is to out the Brigade and try to get Brenda/Britney/Ragan to put their differences aside and work together or get picked off by the guys. It has almost no chance of working but it's time for a Hail Mary pass for Matt. He's got nothing left to lose. This is why he should have outed the Brigade BEFORE the POV ceremony, that way he'd only have to convince Britney. So stupid. They're all just handing the game to the Brigade.

Brit told Ragan that Matt threw him under the bus. Ragan is upset that he spent all that time crying like a 1 yo. And Ragan, dear, when you find out about the BIG lie, please stay away from razor blades and knives. Jerk!

If Ragan tries to get sassy with Brit I hope she let's him know of Matt's betrayal.

Britney talked to Ragan last before the POV ceremony, and she already pretty much told him that Matt betrayed him, but Ragan didn't seem to really get it (surprise surprise). Ragan assured her though that the two of them would still work together even if Matt is evicted, let's see if he holds to that.

It would be kinda hilarious if -- after doing the absolute worst thing for her own game this week -- Ragan won the next HOH and kept Britney safe anyway. The numbers seem against her but it's actually not impossible. The live HOH comps on double eviction nights are always Trivia, which Brendan and Lane aren't good at and Hayden is likely to throw it. We shall see. It's still likely Brit will be sitting on Julie's couch with Matt though.

I think the one thing few have learned and that is if you tell Brit something everybody else is going to know it, too.

I am glad Ragan found out. I am glad he is having to look back over his actions and stupidity with Matt like a little school girl enamored, of all things, the grim reaper.

From Jokers...

Ragan tells Matt he knows Matt was throwing him under the bus. Matt asks who said that, Ragan wont tell him.

Ragan is upset because he risked his game by campaigning for Matt, and Matt didn't appreciate it. Matt says 'I know, it came out wrong.'

Matt apologizing to Ragan. Saying he didn't mean to throw Ragan under the bus, he was just trying to be defensive and trying to stay in the game.

MATT: "You don't seem like the regular Ragan anymore. I don't want you to go down with me. If you need to distance yourself... fuck! Shit man. I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to get you put on the block. I was playing the game defensively. Do you think it would help if I talked to Britney about this?"

RAGAN: "No, I'm glad it happened because it has opened up my eyes, that this IS a game. I needed to be reminded."

Ragan says he has increased the target on his back the last few weeks in order to help Matt, and he doesn't like his position in the house now.

RAGAN: "I risked myself to campaign for you."

MATT: "I was just trying to save myself."

RAGAN: "How did discussion of you staying off the block turn to discussion about ME going on the block?"

MATT: "I didn't mean to throw you under the bus. Britney was asking about me and you being a pair, so..."

RAGAN: "But I risked myself to campaign for you."

Matt says he didn't realize what he said sounded bad until now, until it was explained to him.

Ragan says he will know the truth when he sees the episodes.

MATT: "I don't want our time in here to be... I mean, I enjoyed our time together and I don't want anything to mess it up. I don't want you to not trust me. Oh man, it even sounds stupid to me saying it! I totally get where you're coming from..."

Ragan says he can't get upset anymore about his friends leaving the house. "It's not good for my game. I can't do it anymore. It just sucks because with the web of friendships and alliances in this house... if you leave, I'm gone too."

Ragan and Matt both agree that he (Matt) is going home this week.

RAGAN: "If you go home, I'm walking out the door right behind you. I think we'll be doing the Early Show together. I think the boys are working together. Lane is working with Britney and the boys are working with Brendon."

MATT: "Have you heard for sure that I'm going home?"

RAGAN: "You're going home."

MATT: "That's harsh! Do you know for a fact that I'm going home or is that just your intuition?"

RAGAN: "It's intuition, but you ARE gone."

The conversation continues...

Britney has a bigggg mouth. And I really wanted to like someone on this cast. I guess it's Hayden or Lane by default.

Ragan has finally figured out that the Brigade exists/ed, and that Matt has been cut out...before Matt himself has accepted the fact. Priceless.

I was routing for Matt but if he's gonna stay loyal to the Three Stooges 'til the bitter end then he deserves to go.

I'm convinced that Matt is trying to ruin Ragan's game.

Ragan has come close very close to the truth about the brigade but Matt keeps trying to deflect and put paranoia in his head about other people. The closer Ragan gets to the truth, the more Matt tries to lead him away from it. Right now, he's hinting that Ragan should go after Britney next week instead of Brendon and he's also telling him that Lane can be trusted. WTF?

I don't understand his game at all right now. He must really think he still has a chance to stay to be protecting the brigade like this. Why doesn't he just out them?

I was thinking the same thing when Ragan kept saying, "I think the boys have an alliance" and Matt's not even jumping in or trying to exploit that. What the fuck is he doing? Can NO ONE play this season except Hayden and Enzo?

Trying to get Ragan nominated in a less than subtle way just killed him and any and all credibility he ever had. There are THREE other people in the house who as far as Brit knows Matt has NO allegiance too. So why would him trying to get his best friend nominated not send up the biggest baddest red flag there was in teh world. I mean REALLY. That was the single WORST move oen could make ESPECIALLY when there's a perfectly valid reason why she should nominate Hayden. All he had to say is that Brendon has been getting pretty close to Hayden and Enzo. The end.

I'm just at a loss. There is so much bad game going on. I have never cared less about a season.

I think Matt still believes in the principle of the Brigade. He always said he was closer to them to Ragan and I believe that's true. The brigade guys really do deserve to win. They have played a smarter game than anyone else.

I think it's natural for people here including myself to be put off by an alpha male frat guyish alliance. But all of them except for Matt have been gentleman in this game. Of course they scheme behind people's backs but they havent yelled at anyone or made anyone feel like shit.

I actually respect Matt a little bit for not trying to sell them out. He hasnt shown much integrity so far but he shows a little here. The brigade were a team and it took them all pretty far. Why should drag them all down on his sinking ship? It's so stupid that people turn on their alliance just b/c they feel they cant win. Matt mistakes got him in this spot and he knows it.

But i give him too much credit. he has no integrity. he is prolly just holding out hope he can muster up some votes. He knows ratting out the brigade wont help him at all. Too bad Hayden already caught wind of Ragan's theory and all the boys are blaming Matt anyway.

I never had any problem with them individually... they're just really boring. And the rest of the season is going to be slow, dwindling and predictable. I actually think I might start rooting for Brendon if Brit leaves but only if he continues not to mention Rachel that frequently.

Brendan and his bald head currently working out in the backyard shirtless totally looks like a Prison Bitch.

Aijalon, what integrity and principle is at work when the other members of the Brigade had every intention of ditching Matt before F4 (which goes against the deal the four of them made) and in fact sold him out to Britney this week? Don't get me wrong, I think those three guys had every right within the game to do that, but my point then is you can't hold Matt to some ridiculous standard that 1) has no place in a game and 2) the other members of the alliance haven't lived up to either.

Technically, Matt has done way more for the Brigade than they ever did for him since he won 2 HOHs for them, didn't use the Diamond to backdoor a Brigade, and has thus far refused to out any of them.
