I didn't think Matt could be this blind. How many times does he have to be betrayed by the Brigade to get it to stick?

I didn't think Matt could be this blind. How many times does he have to be betrayed by the Brigade to get it to stick?

He's a complete moron, and one of the pleasures of his eviction will be his recognition that he played a terrible game and that he was never -- in any way -- a diabolical super-genius. And I have even LESS respect for him because he didn't even try to stay by selling out the Brigade. After all his master-mind talk, he just rolled over like a little bitch. I enjoyed seeing Ronnie eat crow last season, and Matt's gonna be feasting on the same.

Just think of how many times he proclaimed himself brilliant in the DR. Hell, week 3 he said he was the best player of all time. Well Matt, you just got outplayed by a Guido, a Jock and a Cowpoke. How do you like them apples?

I gotta agree that Matt is a major disappointment as far as game play...even his social game sucked. Britney needed him to reassure her that she was safe and he had her back...he didn't even try to convince her...only played up the 'sick wife' story and the 'I've won competitions and worked hard to get people out' angle. Then with his attempt to backdoor his bud Ragan clinched the decision for her...nobody is going to trust someone that is so willing to back stab their closest ally so easily. I guess that just goes to show he really was clueless to where the Brigade's heads were at with regards to him...if he had gotten his head out of Ragan's ass he might have known what was going on...

Seems like one of the so called nice dummies are going to win....same as the sweet stupid winner of last season.

Matt was throwing Ragan under the bus hardcore last night. He was merciless.

Hayden and Enzo told him that they're voting him out, but did he get angry? No. Did he out the brigade to the rest of the house to try and win votes? No. He simply threw Ragan under the bus -- yet again. As if that accomplishes anything. He told H/E that Ragan is coming after them and they need to get rid of him next week. "You guys need to play hard. Get him out of here. I would love to see Ragan walk into the jury house after me." WTF?!

I think even though Matt knows the brigade has turned on him, he still wants one of them to win the game just so he can bask in some of their peripheral shine and say he helped make the brigade so successful. He really is "brigade 'til the end."

Oh and I just realized something so obvious I can't believe it didn't occur to me before -- and my apologies to anyone who may have stated this already. Even if Brendan made it to F2 and became more liked by the houseguests apart from Rachel (which I don't believe for a minute given how painfully he interacts with the others), Rachel will make sure the jurors don't forget that the two of them are a pair. There's no getting around it and she lacks the self awareness to realize that she is Brendan's own worst enemy. Remember how in BB9 jurors said they outright didn't want Ryan to win because they hated his girlfriend Jen, and giving him the money would be like giving Jen the money too? The same thing applies here.

Rachel and Brendan have been obnoxious about their relationship and that won't stop when it comes time for voting. I guarantee you Rachel will be all, "That is MY MAN in the Final 2! When he wins, I win and we r going 2 get marrreeeed! Woo hoo! Vegas wedding! I AM Vegas!!" And just imagine how gross the jury questioning will be with her and Brendan fawning over each other. Don't forget that it was exactly this kind of behavior the other houseguests couldn't stand, and mercilessly attacked in the Diary Room (like Rachel and Brendan screaming, "Come on babe! You can do it! I believe in you!" during every competition).

There is no fucking way these people would give the money to Brendan knowing that Rachel would win too. Even if they could get past their dislike of him (and that's a big if) they'll never get past their utter disgust with Rachel. Anyone who doesn't see that doesn't understand how disliked she is by the House, and how obnoxious and unbearable it was for these people to live with her.

And no, juries don't let competition wins and "respect" and any such nonsense influence them to vote for someone they absolutely hate (in this case, Rachel). Danielle and Allison were perceived as playing a better game than their F2 counterparts (I disagree but that is the perception, whether I like it or not) and still they lost to Lisa and Jun because they were hated more. Ivette and Daniele Donato won more competitions than their F2 counterparts -- with Ivette dragging Maggie to the finals and Daniele clearly being the tactician of the Donato alliance (Dick only had crazy theories every week) -- and still they lost to Maggie and Dick because they were hated more. Jordan was one of the dumbest houseguests of all time, and no one on that jury really believed she played a good game (again I don't agree, but this is the perception) and still they voted for her cuz they hated Natalie more.

When Brendan sits F2 with just about anyone left in the game, and Rachel bludgeons the jury day and night -- and she will, she can't help herself -- with MY MAN and OUR LOVE = OUR MONEY proclamations, she will sink whatever stayed afloat of Brendan's chances. I promise you. And the truth is, Brendan will have no one to blame but himself, because he and Rachel made themselves such an obvious target, and they were so obnoxious about their love that they made it impossible for the jury to see them as individuals. It's their own damn fault.

If Jen could be a debit against Ryan after only being in the game for like two weeks, Rachel will bankrupt Brendan after dominating the first half of the game with her horrible personality. We won't see it, but when the houseguests have to live with her in the jury house, they'll remember why they were so happy to evict her in the first place.

It will actually be a fitting end to this season, a perfect narrative coda. Rachel sunk her own chances in the game, and then she sunk Brendan's chances with the jury. I want him in the finals just to see it happen.

I wish I was excited for tonight's episode but I'm not. Once Matt's gone, Britney is the only one left that I care about so I guess I'll be rooting for her to win POV. If she doesn't, she's pretty much fucked and I'll be even more done with this season than I already am.

Five guys in the final five is not something I'm interested in watching.

I think he's even dumber than that Salemite, I think he really believes that if he keeps throwing Ragan under the bus, Hayden/Lane will believe he's loyal to them and not his side alliance, and they'll keep him over Enzo. It's obviously a stupid tactic -- he's better off selling them out to Brendan, Britney and Ragan and at least trying for that Hail Mary -- but he's a stupid guy and a lousy player, so yeah I think he's going with that.

She's in trouble, but it's not over for her yet. If Hayden/Lane throw the HOH to Brendan, he'll either nominate Lane and Ragan (he talked to himself and said he likes Britney more and wants to take her to the end) OR he'll nominate Britney and Ragan, with Britney as pawn. The Brigade for some reason have been talking about evicting Ragan over Britney (I'm not sure why, since Britney has won way more competitions and is a bigger threat to their end-game plans) so there's a slight chance they'll keep her.

Also, if the HOH is Trivia (as it usually is, that set-up in the backyard is likely for the POV) Ragan could actually win it and he won't nominate Britney.

She's in trouble for sure -- and it's her own fault -- but she's not the guaranteed next eviction as I originally thought she'd be. I'm not sure if the Brigade changed their minds about voting out Ragan (can anyone confirm?) but if they haven't, she could survive this double eviction unless Ragan wins POV.

I had thought of this but hoped that jurors could put that aside, as hard as it can be for them. I remember Ragan and Britney talking and she kept saying " I can't stand the thought of Brendan winning! I can't stand it." So i suspect you are right and they would vote against him for that reason, and i suspect it might be the best thing for him because she might hang on to him just because he has the money, otherwise I don't think they'll last. Their worlds are too far apart to last. I also suspect that for him, she is the ultimate woman. However, I never understood how he hung with her after all the things she said that she does, the selling $10 grand bottles of champagne, sitting on men's laps, basically hustling. It is just too far a reach.

My bad, I didn't mean to repeat something you already said.

I agree with the rest of your post too. I think they're going to have real problems in the future because Rachel likes men with money. I dunno, we'll see. It's nice though that you're a Brendan fan but you can objectively see his problem with the jury (it's also obvious that you actually have the feeds). Just like I'm a Britney fan, but I know that 1) she hasn't played well and 2) her only real shot at winning is against Brendan and maybe Ragan. She'd probably lose easily to anyone else.

I had thought that but had not written that so you didn't step on my toes, rather posted something that had occurred to both of us.

I have to say, I'm still looking forward to tonight's episode. The FFwd eps are always exicting and to be fair, I've never had a FFwd ep be completely terrible for me (ie the elimination of my favorite). Janelle won the FFwd HOH on All Stars, Keisha won the FFwd HOH on BB10, and Jordan won that Live POV comp on BB11. Pretty much the only disappointing FFwd episode for me was on BB8, and that had less to do with my favorite being evicted (I certainly couldn't care less about Eric) and more to do with Dick and Daniele surviving.

Not a penny. I'm still sayin it. Not a damn one of them, deserves a penny.

Jesse? Really, BB. That's the best you could come up with?

Does Matt have any common sense whatsoever? He keeps over thinking himself into a deeper hole with every move. He's starting to make Andrew look like the genius.

Are Hayden and Enzo a couple of brain dead farts, or what.

Lane 'manipulating' Britney. Whadaya know, he's got an evil side. Still redneck, but evil.

Ragan. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

At this point, I'm half heartedly cheering for Britney and Brendon.

It's so hard to tell what the Brigade is going to do tonight. They keep going and back and forth. The scare of a double eviction night might push Hayden/Lane to actually try for HOH.

Brendan and Britney are probably both in trouble depending on which one of them (if any) wins POV.

Wow, Ragan figuring out the Brigade proves he's not a COMPLETE moron. He was also basically telling Matt to out the Brigade on the feeds, but of course that dummy is too scared to do it.

Wow, Matt drew the EXACT WRONG conclusion from Ragan figuring out the Brigade.

LOL! Matt is such an idiot. His plot just allows them to vote him out and go after Ragan next. In other words, Matt's stupid idea of throwing Ragan under the bus might save Britney during double eviction. Great job there MENSA!

I hope Ragan figuring this out means he'll nominate two Brigades if he wins HOH instead of just doing the Brigades' dirty work by evicting Brendan.

Brendan: "For RACHEL I gladly vote to evict Matt..."

He's still playing for that hobag. And he's going to make that very clear to the jury if he gets to F2, thereby sinking himself.

Wow, Ragan won POV. Now we'll see who the Brigade prefers: Brendan or Britney.

Ragan has narrowly escaped eviction TWICE by winning POV. Wow.

Brendan should be dead in the water since Ragan and Lane should vote to keep Britney. Unless there was something I missed on the feeds last night?
