. Lane has pretty much sealed his fate with the brigade with this move.

How so? Didn't Hayden tell Lane it was OK to put him up, so Britney won't think Lane is loyal to Hayden and therefore she won't try to split them up if she wins POV next week? As long as Ragan goes, this could actually be a brilliant move for Hayden and Lane.

I'm going to guess Hayden being nominated with will due Lane in. The brigade is going to need ANY reason to turn on one another. Watch this be the reason to vote out or turn on Lane.

Enzo votes to evict Ragan
Britney votes to evict Hayden
Lane breaks the tie and evicts Hayden

Lane and Britney's biggest competition is backdoored.

It's just a thought.

:D

I skimmed through the interview and he seems pretty simple-minded. Which is what I expect a guy who Britney is with to be like. He talks about how her relationship with Lane is being portrayed in a way the seems inappropriate. That is how it is dummy. Britney is inappropriate with him.

She's always all over him and flirting with him. Maybe she is deprived of affection, but I know must of you wouldnt be happy if your bf was all over another guy like Britney is with Lane.

Britney's fiance must be MORTIFIED. A few weeks ago we saw Britney's family talking about how awesome Lane was and how Britney really likes him etc, with no real mention of Nick! WTF?

Brit's fiance is the kind of guy I would date (looks wise I guess since that's all I have to go on). He's ridiculously cute and I <3 blondies.

I'm positive that Lane did what was best for him. I was curious if he'd do what's best for the Brigade or what's best for him but he helped himself out while keeping face with them. Kudos. I don't know why Hayden and Enzo haven't realized this but Ragan has no loyalties and Brit has them to Lane. They really should've tried to get her out this week. If Ragan were to win final 4 veto any one of them might be sent packing but if Brit wins it Lane is completely safe especially after this week.

Getting rid of Ragan is still best b/c he is a big competitive threat. He's so versatile and performs respectably at almost everything. Brit is terrible at most things. She is decent at questions but sucks at anything remotely physical. it still baffles me that people act as though Britney is this competition juggernaut b/c she won a few silly vetoes, most of which were prolly thrown, and one HOH, which we know Matt threw.

Brit has won 3 vetos and an HOH. THat's a far better record than anyone currently in the house can claim. Not only that but teh final 4 HOH is almost always a trivia rather than anything physical. At the end of the day though it's silly to vote based on what probably people might do on games that maybe will look this way. Knowing that Ragan's eviction with give them a 50:50 shot at eviction should their plans go awry next week the smart move imo is to oust Brittney and try and cut a deal with Ragan who has no allies and is in no position to turn such an offer down.

You're right that this is the point in the game when individual-interests diverge from group-interests, but I'm not sure that Hayden didn't do the right thing for himself this week (see below). On a related note, it doesn't benefit Lane at all to go to F4 with Enzo/Hayden, and it especially does not benefit him to go to F2 with Hayden (though it remains to be seen whether he's secretly planning to take Britney to F2 so he can get all the Brigade votes).

Britney is indeed good at Trivia (not only did she win a Trivia HOH, but she was also part of the tie-breaker round week 2 with Rachel and Monet) and the F4 HOH has been trivia every single season since BB3, BUT...Ragan is no slouch in Trivia either. And I can see why Hayden didn't push for Britney to go this week. She thinks she's cool with Hayden/Lane, she doesn't have any long-term game other than evicting who she likes the least (and now that's Enzo), and they have snowed her into thinking Lane is more loyal to her than to Hayden. That means if she wins F4 POV, she'll likely evict Enzo whereas Ragan has figured out the Brigade and would therefore go for a bigger target.

I think falconfan your earlier point may be playing a role too: people in the house remember those endurance comps more vividly and Ragan lasted to the end in both of them. The guys may see him as a combination threat of Trivia (which will be F4 HOH) and Endurance (which will be Part I of the Final HOH) and thus it made sense to get rid of him.

Actually, upon further reflection, falconfan may be right. It would have made sense for Hayden/Enzo to push for Britney's eviction because she has indeed proven herself in all three of BB's main comps:

Trivia -- not only did she win a Trivia HOH, but she was also part of the tie-breaker round week 2 with Rachel and Monet.

Skill -- the bowling POV, the pinball POV.

Basically the only game-reason Hayden had for keeping Britney over Ragan -- and it's a valid one -- is that Ragan would be more likely to split Hayden/Lane if he won the F4 POV whereas Britney can be talked into evicting Enzo.

Ragan's relentless, "Why you and Lane should keep me" talk w/Britney last night probably fell upon deaf ears.

Lane didn't put Britney up because he's been saying he'd evict Ragan, if given the chance, all season long. He knew if he had Britney up there, then Hayden and Enzo would make the decision. This way, even if Britney votes to keep Ragan, Enzo won't and Lane gets to break the tie and evict Ragan anyway.

I think he feels she was a stronger player, also, and deserves a shot at it.
He's also probably got a crush on her.

Both Britney and Ragan agree that if Enzo was sitting next to anyone in the end, he would win the game because at least five in the jury hate the rest of them so bad they'd give it to Enzo for spite.

Argh part of my post got deleted, I also include endurance in Brit's potentials since the first POV she won was sort of endurance and she proved she could stick it out if her life was on the line. She wasn't in any danger the weeks of the Endurance HOH comps, which is why she made a point of throwing them.

You guys are ridiculous with this "Britney is a great competitor" talk. Completely delusional. You even have the nerve to say she has endurance potential from that silly POV that no one wanted except her and Monet. Are you kidding me? Then make all these assumptions about her throwing Endurance. If that's the case everyone could have thrown them. she sucks at endurance. she didnt throw anything.

The only thing we know was thrown was Matt throwing HOH to Britney. I cant stand Ragan but I admit he is a good well-rounded competitor. Why cant people admit they want Britney to win and are inflating everything she has done. the fact is none of the guys are scared too face her in competition b/c they all think she's not great. they are terrified of Ragan.
