I like the song...didn't like it on first listen...but after the now like 20 something listens I dig it.

and I don't get the people that are saying it's the same beat as Tik Tok...I dont' hear it at all...besides the fact that the same guy wrote both...that's it.

I'm not really a fan of Katy Perry but I do love her music, including this song.

It reminds me of a Dizzie Rascal's song "Holiday" and Keshas "Tik Tok". New gym song get!

I like it alot. Lyrically its not nearly as sharp as any of her other songs. Its a hot summer tune though so i'll definitely be plugging it this year.

Dr. Luke just totally recycled the beats for this song (or for Tik Tok, depends on which he wrote first I guess). But it's so lazy he didn't even change the tempo!! First time I heard California Gurls I thought it was some crazy remix of Kesha! No, but both songs are really good and California Gurls is definitely the song of the summer!

AND I LOVE COMMANDER BY KELLY ROWLAND IT NEEDS TO BE MORE POPULAR. Sorry for that lol but I needed to make it known.
