I was just playing with you but you are being a straight up asshole. Please don't comment to me anymore. You are so condescending and egotistical it makes me sick.
Sure thing.
And one of us is a sound engineer for a living and the other...isn't.
And just an FYI, if you're listening to it on Itunes, it most DEFINITELY isn't superior if you've compressed it.
Now, now, like Madonna wise words go, "Love makes the world go 'round".![]()
Does anyone here actually like it?I have that Time magazine she was on the cover of in 85 and she talks about how she is in the middle of writing that song while she is on tour. The whole interview was really interesting. I don't mind that song but "Where's The Party" is the song I would skip. Now I don't mind it but back then just got freaked out by the crying at the end, lol. Hey, I was like 12.Meh, it's good. Not great. I listen to it. I mean, when I listen to that album, I never skip over it.

btw...how does everyone feel about White Heat? I love that song, but most people I know either forget about it or think it's stupid.
I think White Heat might be my fav on True Blue. Don't ask me why cause I couldn't tell you. But that's the song I get stuck in my head most when I listen to True Blue.^I loved that ending!

In 1987 I took the bus to get to where Who's That Girl was playing. I was 14. Anyone over 14 would hate that movie, lol. I also saw Shanghai Surprise at the movies. I really liked it at the time. I bought the dvd recently at Big Lots for $3 but have yet to watch it. Something tells me being 14 had a lot to do with loving the movies. Desperately Seeking Susan is just a great 80's movie. It captured Madonna at that moment. I was 15 when Dick Tracey came out and if you loved Madonna you loved that Movie. She sang and got to cat around. Once Madonna started doing movies like Dangerous Games or whatever it was called she lost the fun part of her movies. She shouldn't try to be a serious actress. Her quirky movies are the most memorable. Like I said in a previous post I can't speak on Evita. Never saw it. HATE musicals. It's not terribly surprising that nobody here is discussing her films... anybody like her acting? Favorite Madonna film?
A personal favorite is "Who's That Girl". She WAS Madonna throughout that whole movie. When I think of the "True Blue" era, it was a beautiful one, but it was one where Madonna seemed to just let go in a freedom sense and was just really bubbly. Nikki Finn was Madonna at that time. I think "Who's That Girl" was such a fitting role for her. It was a HORRIBLE movie because she was too much of a bubbly persona in both her music and the movie, you can't take it seriously when it comes to the movie. But it's just such a fun cheese fest. LOL.

Also here is the Pepsi commercial. I remember sitting next to the VCR ready to tape it when it premiered during the Cosby show. It was only shown 3 times after that I think.
