Re: Madonna at the Brit Awards

Madonna should've faked her own death a decade ago.

Re: Madonna at the Brit Awards

Is anyone a fan of Madonna's work...???

She has a great personality for an older woman and she seems rather delightful.

Not to mention how talented she is.Will any of you buy her new album?
Not a big fan of the last tour, but I've pre-ordered rebel heart from Amazon. Always been a fan

Re: Madonna at the Brit Awards

As you can see she was PULLED OFF! And she said, that it was too tight, so I think someone is gonna get.......:##::soapbox:

For a song as horrible as this one, she deserved to be pulled off stage.

Re: Madonna at the Brit Awards

Madonna's songs and voice grated my nerves so bad when I was working in a gay nightclub...blasting loud and making my butt cheeks clench and my teeth grind...

On the plus side....La Isla Bonita was OK..I kinda liked her in Evita...and I liked how she stood up for equality under the law.

When she came out with VOGUE I fucking lost it. People were "vogueing" and I wanted to barf...it was not cute

I had the same reaction to Donna Summer, ABBA and Rick Astley....I needed earplugs when ABBA came on....

I never pay much attention to her ...just not a fan...

Re: The Official MADONNA Discussion Thread - 2014 edition

Madonna is superhuman. She has to be to survive the ugly abuse

No wonder Madonna took her Brit awards fall in her stride – she deals with much worse just for being a 56-year-old woman

Madonna was at the Brits, performing her totally boss I Will Survive-style single Living for Love, when it happened. “Took me to heaven, let me fall down … lifted me up and watched me stumble.”

So she prophesied it, and so it came to pass. It wasn’t a trip or a tumble. It wasn’t funny; it was terrifying and so brutal that the audience fell silent. It was the kind of accident that breaks necks, damages brains and haunts Cirque du Soleil performers’ nightmares. The Armani cape Madonna was wearing as she approached the podium was tied too tight and didn’t fall undone when her dancers pulled it. She was yanked back by the neck and flew through the air over three steps, landed hard at the base of the podium and for a split second didn’t move.

Can't tell if mikemizanin729 is a troll or an idiotic asslicker.

What shocked me about this incident, is that according to TV news, fans were deeply worried about the health of their idol. First world problems.

Asslicker? Your names PAWS have you been licking them lately.

Anyway to you, it's a first world problem, but some are concerned for the Queen of pops health here.

She is an entertaining woman and she needs to be healthy to continue entertaining the globe.

No to all above.

Re: Madonna at the Brit Awards

The Brits are so polite these days. One reason? There’s no bands left

It used to feel like a school canteen full of rival gangs - now it's a civilised dining room.

In short, nothing happens. Almost nothing. With my Mum-face on I think that Paloma Faith holding a microphone in the pouring rain is a health and safety nightmare, but it turns out that the accident waiting to happen is an unforeseen one, involving stairs, a cape and a dancing bull. Madonna falls over, giving the evening its longed-for news angle. Seated only yards from the stage I hear the crash as she goes down, most shocking of all being the heavy ker-THUMP of her mic hitting the floor. Golly, I think, that mic’s actually on. Not a given nowadays – and quite a thrill.

What is most remarkable though, and confirms everything I’ve ever thought about the indestructible will-to-power of Stars, is her recovery. Have you ever fallen flat on your back? I have once, on the slippery decking outside my back door, and on landing whiplashed and winded did what you would do, and burst into tears of self-pity. Which is why I’m not a global superstar with a decades-spanning career, and neither are you.

Re: Madonna at the Brit Awards

Beyond Ageist Beyoncé in 2007 fell off a stage on to her head, Granny is worth almost 200 million in Pounds Sterling. My partner met her in Los Angels on a Aids run and I have met here in a small store St Johns Wood London where she shops is nice and does not look like anyone's granny!
