I always thought this was one of Mariah's best. I'm still a fan but really miss the glory days of vintage Mariah. Enjoy!

I miss this Mariah So Much, This is the Mariah i fell in love with, Butterfly was her last Good Album, i really dont listen to anythin past that album, Wow, the memories.

Was that from "The Arsenio Hall Show"? I think I remember watching that at the time and yes, she was phenomenal.

My absolute fave performance came from around the same time: October of 1990 when she sang "You're Vanishing" on "Saturday Night Live."

It was because of this performance (and I guess the fact that the album was No. 1 at the time), that I went out and bought her self-titled debut CD.

Unfortunately, YouTube isn't allowing sharing of this piece. Guess my second fave performance would be "Butterfly" on "The Late Show With David Letterman" from November of 1997 (approximately a decade ago!).

That is my favorite Mariah performance. It used to be 'Fly Like a Bird' from the Grammy Awards. But I'm like obsessed with that song!

Yes, that was from Arsenio Hall Show. Here's the Vanishing performance you mentioned. It was awesome also. I remember seeing it live as well. She performed 2 songs that night. Vision of Love was first and was great and then she came out and did Vanishing. I taped the original airing of SNL and have kept it all these years. They were and still are some of my favorite memories of Mariah.

Mariah Carey new Album

Mariah Carey Has more number one hits than any other female artist.. she has been number one on top of the billboard than and other female artist.. she has the number one singe One Sweet Day that reigned on top of the charts for 16 weeks that no one has been able to beat.. she has had a number one single since 1990-2007, no one else has defeated.. and she writes her own music unlike Madonna, Celine Dion or Whitney Houston.. The Queen ( Mimi ) is returning feb and will kick everybody else out of the water.. Sorry brit you may have to go to rehab, Celine go on the las vegas stage and sing songs you did not write or produce, and Madonna well the whole Britney and Christina thing didn work out at the VMA , so you can try in a couple of years makin out with a couple of has beens on stage to restart you career, but MiMi is going to kick ass this next year and throw Whitney back into Crack, Celine not Singing her own songs , and Brit- Well honey your dead all ready so you dont count.

Madonna commands publishing, but writes very little of her own material. There is a difference. This is why it appears she writes more than she actually does.
