But I'm not even gonna whip on that ass today. Nope, not today. Feelin quite nice this afternoon, homeboy.

Trashy ho aint got nothing I wanna hear!
Whitney Houston has impressive comeback marketing campaign

Whitney Houston's comeback campaign seems quite contrived. It's as if we are getting ready to watch the new Whitney Houston Comeback movie with people jumping, crying, and screaming, "Welcome back Whitney!" Let's face it: America loves comebacks. Whitney Houston could deliver absolute musical crap and the media will still love it.
However, it doesn't sound like Whitney Houston is going to be releasing crap. Music industry insiders say that the most important aspect of Whitney Houston's comeback campaign is to remind people why they fell in love with Whitney Houston in the first place: her great voice, her irresistible ballads, and her fun dance songs. Her new album, which is rumored to be titled Undefeated, will be released on September 1.
Whitney Houston is playing it very smart by putting out a new album with 80s dance music that is similar to "How Will I Know" and " I Wanna Dance With Somebody." There will also be sweeping ballads similar to "I Will Always Love You" and "Greatest Love of All."
Madonna and Mariah Carey should be taking notes. People really don't want to see women over forty get down and dirty with rappers and pretend they are twenty-years old again. Mariah Carey thought she would interrupt the buzz surrounding Whitney Houston's comeback by releasing her album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, the week before. Judging by Mariah's horrid new single "Obsessed," which was just released today, Whitney doesn't have much to worry about.

Whitney has a lot of hype/media on her side and bigger standards/expectations than Mariah, so lets hope she just rises to the occasion and delivers.![]()
Lets see. I wonder if Whitney will release a comeback album as successful as The Emancipation of Mimi.
And is that avatar you, SexyKev? If it is, you picked an appropriate handle.
I actually prefer this song over her new one:

Agreed. I'm looking for Whitney to bring back REAL singing. This new Mariah song is garbage. She's not even really singing on it. And that "Hate U" clip was lame too. Matter of fact all the music she's been putting out lately is whack. And I'm a fan of the old Mariah.![]()
^^ Now he's hijacking this thread with his Whitney obsession!
Someone stop him. Pepper spray. Rubber bullets. Anything!
It's typical Mariah = garbage.
And seriously, someone ought to tell her that coming off like a vapid tart stops being cute after 35.

Okay, fine. Whitney's a crackhead. That explains her downfall. What's Mariah's excuse. It's no secret how, um, "unbalanced" she tends to be? Is she a crackhead too...or just plain nuts?
Don't snicker about Crack, when your idol has to stay laced on Prozac to keep her from breaking plates and chasing after cars.
