I love the gritty, marching drum pattern beat. You can tell Sade is trying to switch it up a little bit to appeal to mainstream radio while at the same time she manages to keep her signature style/sound we all know her for. "Soldier of Love" is like "No Ordinary Love" meets "Love Lockdown" but w/o the cheesy Kanye Autotune effect. Oh, I am in love with the new single by Sade. If this is what we should expect for the rest of the abum, waiting for February the 8th is going to feel like waiting for Christmas 2010 to come. :-)

I must say I'm not (yet) the biggest Sade fan. The only song I had always known is Smooth operator which I don't like at all, but then I came across Jezebel - that I'll now post. My contribution to "the post your favorite Sade video portion of the show":



And now Soldier of Love really got me hooked! I'm excited about the new album! ..|

Sade Is Back! "Soldier Of Love"

I'm in love with this song. I was on my way to workout and thought I'd throw in the headphones for a sec just to see if this long wait has been worth it...HELL YES! And if you're trying to get through a breakup like me it'll probably speak to you like it did me. :)
