I would love love love to see a spin off film featuring Hawkeye and Black Widow. The Marvel canon alludes to quite a complex relationship between them.

Would be GREAT to see Jeremy Renner and Scarlett Johannson return in these roles.

Even before the flick was released over-seas the Critics have Blessed it with constant praise...I've NEVER gone to a Midnight showing of a new release during a busy work-week but I'm THERE along with a Bud Thursday morning @ 12:01.....

P.S. I was surprised to learn The Avengers is a Disney Studios release...Very interesting..
 
The AVENGERS!!!

Sweet God, this movie was amazing! The 3D was fantastic, the action was epic, and the story was awesome. I honestly cannot think of a moment when I thought the movie was dragging. It was almost two and a half hours long, and I could have stayed for two and a half more. I didn't have many worries about how the story would play out--not with Joss Whedon at the helm--but I was thrilled with how well each character was portrayed. Every member felt relevant, even the supporting cast. And Loki! Oh god, when I managed to think beyond all the bad things I would let him do to me, I remembered why I loved him so much as the villain. Speaking of boner alerts, I almost felt woozy from all the redirected blood. Captain America, Thor, Loki--I couldn't decide who I wanted most.

Honorable mention: Scarlett Johansson kicking serious ass and looking so damn good doing it.

i agree with you. When Loki was walking down the stairs, All i could think about was how hot he looked. Also th movie was awesome!Can't wait for the next one.

I don't suppose there was a hot gay sex scene with Captain America and Thor, was there? I know, I'm a dreamer.
 
The Avengers was worth the wait...It was Excellent...The Screenwriter did a great job giving each Hero his air time. The movie wasnt rushed. The action was non-stop. The comedy was a surprise but it worked..Robert Downey is a scene stealer in the nicest way..He IS Starke through and through...I like the way they fit him in tight pants and have him strutting across the room in several scenes...

I was upset that Marvel producers dissed Ed Norton as Hulk and chose to go with a sexier Banner via Mark Ruffalo ..I still love Ed but I take back everything I said about Mark. Mark really shined every time he was seen..I would LOVE to see Hulk 3 with him in the role. I did not know Hulk was as powerful as he is. Hulk is like a non-stop Machine that can stop anything in its track. He stood out among all the Avengers...

Everyone in the theatre clapped when the flick was over....I will probably see it again.....And don't forget to stay for the final scene after the credits finish rolling....
 
The best part if what the Hulk does to Loki cracked me up!
Ok the BIG question every one is asking? who in the heck was the bad guy in the credit clip? A lot of people are saying Thanos, I was the thinking it could be the Gladiator.. but we did not see the off screen character that was doing the talking..maybe both Thanos and Gladiator?
 
In Re to Disney. Marvel was bought by Disney a couple years ago. Its now a division of Disney called Marvel Studious. They control of the entire Marvel character catalog except for those characters they sold the right to such as Spiderman (hence why is not an Advenger} Nor are X men. Ghost rider almost reverted back to Marvel and F4 reverted back to Marvel I think..if they do not make a movie within a certain amount of time ( 4 years I think) the right revert back to Marvel. This is why Chris Evans is playing CA and not Jonny Storm and why they were able to use the Hulk because the rights also reverted back to Marvel.
