Didn't want to start a new thread but just wanted to say that a radio station has been playing non stop Whitney songs from 8 pm. I am listening to the 21st Whitney song now, "Where Do Broken Hearts Go"

They haven't played, " I Will Always Love You" yet, i figure they will close out with that one as it is her signature.

I love it. I missed her voice. So strong, so smooth and pure.

Her comeback will be HUGE if she still has the voice i have been hearing since 8pm.

Go Whitney.

Right now they are on, "Run To You" and before they played "Same Script"


Ok they just played, "I Will Always Love You" and "I Believe In You And Me" so they will close with another song.

Did you see the new pics from last weekend? Whitney was in the Bahamas along with countless other celebrities looking and sounding (talking voice, that is) great. Everyone was all over her.

Speaking of Whitney, I heard/read that her Godmother growing up - Aretha Franklin, was getting married again... Anyone can confirm?

I thought Whitney looked very well when I saw those photos last year. Reminiscent of her early days. I'm looking forward to her return. I've read that both Ne-Yo and Akon are two of the producers working on her next record. Akon and Whitney?? I'm not sure how I feel about that. Hopefully the production will be contemporary without straying away from Whitney's classic sound.

Three songs come to mind: 1) The beautiful "All At Once" 2) The really fun "So Emotional" and 3) "Nobody Loves Me Like You Do (with Jermaine Jackson). I still remember the first time I ever saw Whitney. She (totally unknown at the time) and Jermaine sang "Nobody Loves Me Like You Do" on "As The World Turns" for the wedding of Meg Ryan's character, Betsy.

She's got tonnes of great music but yeah, I'm Your Baby Tonight is definitely one of her best imo. But there's this other song that I can never say no to as well and it is My Love Is Your Love. There's something about that song that just ease every part of me. Almost like enjoying a stroll on a quiet beach but better.

I was never much of a fan. I liked her voice, but never thought it was used to sell a really good song. (See also Mariah.) "All the Man That I Need" was one I thought she did well.
