She looks so much better. She's gained a little weight back and looks like she's put down most of the coke... That drugged-out droopy-eye look will take a while to recover, though.

I always knew you had it in you to comeback and i know you still your voice because Clive believes in you. This comeback is going to be bigger than Mimi lol j/k but it is going to be huge. So many people love Whitney and are happy that she finally kick Bobby to the curb.

Thank you, so much. Some people make me ill - gay, straight, whatever. Never in my life would I say some of the despicable things about people I don't know about their drug addictions considering members of my family have gone through probably worse than others.
I can only hope Whitney maintains her sobriety and lives WELL- with voice or not.

And that will never happen for one reason: Like Mariah's, her voice just completely became destroyed. I remember like 2 years ago when she sang "I Will Always Love You" on BET and I thought it was funny cause she didn't hit ANY note - and it wasn't because she couldn't get on key - it's because her voice took a nosedive. It happens. She's older. Her and Mariah were stupid and sang like Machines and fucked themselves up. Mariah just got lucky and her songs aren't as vocally harsh as they used to be (written up in really high keys). Whitney just doesn't have mainstream appeal. She tried. Remember "Whatchalookinat?" Yeah.

I'm in my 20's now and I listen to Pop/R&B/Hip-Hop and I've enjoyed Whitney Houston's music. First, I would like to say that don't believe in any of the things Bobby Brown's sister said or the photos she presented about Whitney. They're all not true. They're all just lies.
Whitney Houston doesn't look drugged out and she doesn't look droopy-eyed. Looking at those pics, Whitney looks very gorgeous. She's looks like a demure goddess of music and dance appearing on this earth. She's older, but just a little tiny bit older...McsNo1Fn, Mariah Carey's older too.
I think Whitney can still sing “I Will Always Love You” like the way she sang it on the single. When she was performing on BET, maybe the room was just a little chilly in there and that can affect the voice or maybe she just had a little laryngitis, that’s all. She sang well on her latest album, it’s just that album didn’t become such a big hit because it wasn’t a really great album.

Whitney Houston’s forthcoming album just might become more successful than Mariah Carey’s “The Emancipation of Mimi”, you never know. Whitney’s album will be released in the spring or early summer, so I’m hoping she’ll primarily do dance pop songs like what Madonna and Kylie Minogue's been doing. And I'm hoping she'll have some R&B mid tempo songs and pop ballads on her album like she used to have on her previous albums. If her upcoming album and her singles are gonna be good, she can keep topping the Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100 music charts and the official album and singles music charts of every country around the world. I wouldn't be surprised if she did, after all we're talkin' about Whitney Houston here.

Why is that always the excuse when an artist just plain can't sing like they used to? She sucked. She sucked bad. And that wasn't the ONLY performance that sounded bad in recent years. You can't possibly tell me she's just sick all the time or it was cold everywhere...
I thought that album was pretty damn good. I loved the first two singles, especially. They should have been big - but, people just turn away from her.
She hasn't had mainstream appeal for QUITE a long time. It's mostly been Urban Adult and Mainstream Adult. IF she has the right people on her hands, which assuming it's gonna be Clive Davis, she will go nowhere. He's not relevant anymore to be quite honest. 99% of his artists fell on their faces recently, flop after flop. All she needs is that one song, but is her style really relevant now? The LAST thing she needs to do is a MADONNA-KYLIEesque album. She probably wants airplay. And, it has nothing to do with the fact that I'm a Mariah fan. I like Whitney, nearly all Mariah fans do, but we have to be real. It's almost as real as Mariah having another big album after this one, it's just not good odds.
We'll see. I wish her all the best and to prove me wrong. But sometimes a name just isn't speaking for itself ala Mariah from 2001-2003 and Madonna back in the American Life days (2003?)
