What are you going to wear? If I'll ever marry I'd like to wear a dark grey striped dress with a gilet and a red bowtie over a white shirt :lol:

And I would be blushing all the time looking at my man !oops!

Was able to rent a condo in August at Ocean City, NJ for me and my sister's family. Haven't had a vacation at the shore for nearly 5 years and looking forward to it. As much as I would have liked to be by myself, the rent was a little bit high for me. We get along great together and should be fun. Spring is coming alive in my back yard. I noticed this morning the buds on my Norway Maple are opening and a bright green head is bursting with life. The daffodils are smiling brightly out back too. :)

Thanks! AND it was only the shirt, I had a blue suit, hehe.

We actually had a pre-wed honeymoon planned, but it has to be cancelled in the last minute, so whenever we have some free time, we´ll figure out something. Thanks for asking (*8*)
 
Good day/bad day.

Conservation authority had to issue permits to developer because they had no legislative authority to hold them any longer....but finally there is a new project on the horizon after 12 weeks of drought.
 
First day off since last Friday. Just took a ten minute hot shower, my boyfriend is getting take out and it is just going to be a relaxing day from there.
 
Well it seems my performance at work is excellent as I had multiple people tell me they heard about me and how good of a job I'm doing there. Feels good.
 
Good Things Thread

I thought this board had one but I'm not seeing it, pardon the pun. If it does, mod please move this posting.

So, lemmie see here, I had a ridiculously decent Saturday, date went very well. I'm still on a bit of a cloud, we seem to have quite a lot in common and their conversational skills are very, very good.

The sushi turned out - (I was worried since the rice was overly warm). I still have to call my mother and do a bunch of paperwork, but eh, you can't have everything! And that jewelry box I'm trying to decorate is going very well (knock on wood), the anatomically correct heart looks fine from what I can tell. Not my best work, and I think I managed to get enamel on my nose from the closeness of the painting, but other then that, very good going.

Anyone else? And the small positivities, they do indeed matter!
 
Today is one of the most beautiful days we've had since last fall. It reached 78°F/ 25.5°C sunny and cloudless. I couldn't have asked for a better Easter Sunday. Took my 3 1/2 year old niece and the family dog for a long walk after a delicious dinner my mom produced. Came back home and have been sitting out back enjoying the day. Birds are singing and building nests in the bird houses. What a wonderful day to be alive :D :luv:

I took my neighbor's kids to see Star Wars at the cinema, and then out for Popeye's chicken. The kids had a wonderful time. They get few such treats due to their parents (I'll spare you the description to keep the thread positive.)

Also got out early this morning and a hid a bunch of eggs and balloons and whatnot for them this morning and got to see them racing about later when they discovered the surprise.

The joy of children is a thing to relish.
