  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

The Queen is Dead. Long live the King.

You obviously missed the pics of her maj picking up the cuff of a black child in daycare as though she was a filthy sock.

Or Charles consistently bypassing blacks in crowds who want to shke his hand.

Stop apologizing for them.
Or the lot of them snickering at the black singer at Harry and Megan’s wedding.

I've not seen those photos. "Picking up the cuff"?

I've also never before heard it suggested that Charles avoids shaking black hands. Is that documented anywhere?

The design of the new postage stamps has been revealed.

(I still don't understand the point of the QR code thing on the side.)

Doesn't hold a candle to the Manchin series of QEII: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Machi...of Elizabeth II, replacing the Wilding series.

Also, he's the first reigning British monarch since 1845 who isn't wearing a crown on the postage stamp

That's not strictly true. Edward VII, George V and George VI had an image of a crown above their head, but we're not actually wearing it. This is an example:

Edward VIII stamps had an image of a crown in the corner, like this:

Have any of you noticed how much like his late17th and 18th century Hanoverian ancestors Charles looks in comparison to his 20th century predecessors? I think the similarity to George II and George III is striking.

One of the York girls--the one married to the Italian hunk who, it would seem, found more opportunity in her bed than that of mother of his child--looks astonishingly like Queen Victoria.

Yes. It is.

Let's face it. Like Philip. Charles and Cameltoe are about as colonial racist as it gets.

And who cares?

They are irrelevant and easily overlooked.

Regarding activities of the royal family, some of you may find the following attachments interesting. They link to the websites of two educational organizations that they have have created, followed by a link to the website of the new town that Charles has fostered.

The Prince's Trust, which King Charles established while Prince of Wales was created to foster learning and the acquisition of skills. I have known two architects who participated in programs associated with the organization and they spoke highly of their experiences.

The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust is an organization established by Charles's cousin, Lord Snowden, known professionally as David Linley, which seeks to foster the acquisition of skills in crafts, artisanry and the building arts. Linley himself is a cabinet maker and furniture designer.

Poundbury is a new town founded on the principals of what in the States is known as New Urbanism:

Charles postage stamp looks more like a Roman coin of Caesar then king. Coincidence or intentional 🤔🤔🤔😁

If there was any truth in what you say, the British media would have been all over it. The fact is that there isn't and they haven't.

A nasty, mean-spirited post.

Not a chance. And it was all over the Social Media. I saw the videos...the Brit media are desperate to cover for Charles and his doxy because they realize that with the Queen gone and the dwindling importance and interest in Wills and Katy....happy stories about the monarchy will be their bread and butter.

Here in New Zealand, I can't say I've ever heard any suggestion that the royal family are racist, apart from maybe the late Prince Philip. But the Queen, King Charles or William. No. The supporters of ditching them as our Head of State in favour of a Republic would pounce on such a suggestion if it were the case.

Exactly. If the best Rareboy can up with is that it was "all over the Social Media" then clearly it's BS.
