The Return of Karma

K is for Kid Rock. K is for Karma.

Kid Rock cancels upcoming shows after 'over half' of his band has COVID-19 [Fox]
Kid Rock canceled an upcoming concert this weekend after "over half" of his band tested positive for coronavirus.

The 50-year-old musician confirmed the news in a string of tweets on Thursday after a post by Billy Bob's Texas said the Aug. 27 and 28 shows were canceled.

Rock's tweet read, "Billy Bob's Shows This Weekend... I am p---ed. Over half the band has f--king covid (not me), and before u s--t for brains bloggers and media trolls run your mouths, many of them, like me, have been vaccinated."...

Rock had previously performed at Billy Bob's Texas on Aug. 21 and 22.

Band does a concert last weekend and half of them now test positive for COVID-19... and now you want to do another concert at the same venue?

Nevermind the cognitive dissonance of holding an indoor concert in Texas where over 300 people died of COVID-19 today. :telstra:

^ Stopping at "Kid Rock" might have been enough.........what an asshole....... *%%*

When you look at all those gleeful Republicans at the celebration, you have to think that maybe karma was catching up with them.

Not if they all survived a virus that rightfully should have killed half of their elderly junk food gorging triple obese asses. Plus their base is still pretty solid. If anything I'd say their karma is still humming along nicely.

Age 30. Pregnant wife. Took ivermectin instead of getting vaccinated. Probably his 30 days of hospital bills will be $400,000 or more. :##:

He got what he wanted. I'm happy for him.

NYT is so paywalled now I can't read the article.

it's a CULT

find me ONE of these people that is a democrat and voted for Biden - there are none - this is another retaliation from the CULT known as Trump aka the CULT OF RACIST/HATERS - they will continue to drink this kool-aid like in Jonestown until it kills them - the only problem is that unlike Jonestown they are all drinking the kool-aid at different intervals and it is taking innocent bystanders down instead of just the gullible... this is NOT going to end - they are just like any other CULT - they cannot see they are drinking the kool-aid nor do they care - they cannot see the forest for the nooses on the trees...

if they admit they are wrong about this then their whole house of cards tumble - this is never going to end...

At some point, I smell a lawsuit against Fucker Carlson and Faux for pushing Ivermectin.

“Caleb has peacefully passed on. He will forever live in our hearts and minds,” Mrs. Wallace wrote in a post on GoFundMe, where she had been raising money to cover medical costs.

I feel for her and the kids, but if she isn't angry as fuck right now...

It is also head shaking that now she's having to run a GoFundMe scam to make up for his arrogance and stupidity.

Anti-vaccination anti-mask political activist leaders and talk show hosts dropping like flies due to Covid [Moderate Voice]

There’s a parade of stories about anti-vax activist leaders and right-wing talk show hosts dropping like flies due to Covid. These are the folks who’ve led rallies or, in the case of the talk show hosts, pooh-poohed or even opposed vaccinations and mask wearing. You can’t exactly call them “the best and the brightest.”

Outspoken anti-vax radio host Marc Bernier died after three-week battle with COVID-19: report [Raw Story]
Yet another prominent conservative media voice has succumbed to coronavirus after arguing against public health measures like masks and vaccines.

WNDB radio announced on Saturday night that anti-vax radio host Marc Bernier had passed away.

After Bernier was hospitalized three weeks ago, WNDB-AM/FM operations director Mark McKinney said he didn't know for sure if the host was unvaccinated.

"If you've listened to his show," McKinney said, "you've heard him talk about how anti-vaccine he is on the air."

In his last tweet, he said pro-vaccine outreach was like the Nazis after a post urging vaccination by Florida Agricultural Commissioner Nikki Fried, a Democrat.

His tweet was on July 29th. A month later, he's dead.

Another open pastor's job:

Pastor dies from COVID after church told members 'not to worry' about virus because 'God is in control' [Raw Story]
A beloved Kentucky pastor has died from COVID-19, after his church advised members on its website "not to worry" about the coronavirus because "God is in control."

Tim Parsons, senior pastor at Center Point Church in Lexington, died one day after the church embarked on a period of prayer and fasting asking the Lord to restore him "back to his normal self," the Christian Post reports.

Center Point Church had been meeting in person but temporarily switched to online worship — "out of an abundance of caution" —after Parsons was hospitalized earlier this month, according to a report from the local CBS affiliate.

In a frequently asked questions section on the church's website, one of the topics is, "Should I be worried about COVID-19?"

"We don't want to be worried because the Bible tells us not to worry," the site states. "We know that God is in control and that He can use all suffering to draw people to Himself. We do want to be wise by practicing what the CDC calls 'safe distancing.' We can also look for opportunities to turn Coronavirus conversations into gospel conversations."
