People don't decide what their feelings are, including if they feel an apology is genuine or sufficient for compensating for decisions/effects. It'd barely be a 1% dent, would not reverse the damage done.

Remember what we're talking about. Voting even to stop the repeal of the 'gay panic defence' meant not just assaulters but MURDERS of GLBTIQ people got LETFF totally. He has tears and BLOOD on his hands.

It's not an unusual scenario to allow a 'friend of a friend' in a picture. Though it is rare. If it's a 'friends day out' you can be told to 'stand aside' because you're not one of the friends. I've never asked to be in a photo like that, it feels 'intrusive'. But then I'm an 'old school' gentlemen. Him & his enablers are toxic narcissists that want sex with ripped men. We all know the deal.....

They can't even talk properly! I've heard them talk to each other sometimes! As bad & shallow as sports fanatics talking to each other on public transport!

When you get into a political party (like you mentioned back at #16) your speeches will be written for you.

You will be given briefing notes every time you confront the media.

You must toe the party line. The Labor Party is extremely strict on those members who go against it.

On the event & the immorality of attending it is a different topic but it’s a topic worth discussing. It’s honestly a more interesting and complicated one than talking about another hypocritical politician. What is happening with Coachella highlights how ultimately money and the opportunity for exposure often prevail over people’s supposed convictions. 'Influencers' like James Charles were there, and said nothing in his YT video about the owner!! It also highlights how people are willing to overlook misdeeds, hate, prejudice so long as those things aren’t rubbed in their face. h no, we're not allowed to confront these people! No, that's mean and 'confrontational'...…..

There are two Republicans who have pending federal indictments in Congress who were re-elected in 2018. There's an occupant of the White House who is an admitted pussy-grabber and who has 23 women who can come forward with allegations of inappropriate conduct with women.

If that is the standard, anyone can get elected.

His loss might be in the primary. The current occupant of his old seat is Ray LaHood's son. The last name LaHood might garner more votes. But anything is possible on the Republican side these days.

Sadly, there's a substantial majority of people who don't follow the news unless it's about The Bachelor or it involves a Kardashian or a Housewife. Even sadder, those people can also vote. In the general, they just look for the R or the D and pull the lever. ](*,)
