The trailer for this movie sure got my attention. It kinda reminded me of the first teasers for independence day when they just showed shit getting blown up.

Well after clicking on the youtube link from Blackwolf. I watched the clip...then I checked out the guy's history. a couple of video's before that talk about a rainbow cloud coming during a summer storm. I have no idea if this is suppose to be part of the movie or if the are just paying this guy to go along for the ride..but he does have a myspace account too....just look under his profile on youtube!

This should be an intersting movie...I'm looking forward to seeing it for sure!!!

"Godzilla" meets "The Blair Witch Project"?

There's something wrong with this movie. They erase every trace of it from the internet.

Last suspicious fact: On the DVD edition of TRANSFORMERS the trailer isn't featured.

Creativity haven't been around these guys, for sure.

i find that their entire approach to marketing this film has been entirely creative.

there is still mystery surrounding this project and because of that there will be interest.

I agree on the creativity of the marketing, but when it comes to the posters, all that creative dynamo was out of service.
 
I've read about it bein' Voltron somewhere but, i've also read about it bein' yet another remake of Godzilla..who knows..we could all be wrong it could be something entirely new.

As far as official info it has been stated by the director that this is NOT a remake of any Godzilla film nor is it a Voltron movie... the rights to that have been bought by another film company..

He has stated it is a monster movie involving a monster no one has seen before.

Also 1/18/08 is the official website so far but there are others secrets on the web waiting to be discovered...

the EthanHaasWasRight website has nothing to do with this movie.... its actually for a video game
 
I'm not familiar with Voltron. Does the Statue of Liberty have any significance with it/him?

Is 1-18-08 still the release date?

Voltron doesn't have anything to do with NY...or even Earth for that matter... it was a show about 5 space explorers who have to save the planet Arus from the evil rulers of Planet Doom...
 
Anyone seen the advance screenings yet?

There's been pics circulating the web since like Tuesday taken from camera phones, so I'm trying to hold out & wait until I can see the monster in theaters myself on Friday

I heard the entire movie is shot with the handheld camera view (blair witch style) so yay for 90+ minutes of shaky footage...I just want some good shots of the creature & I'm good LoL
 
i'm doing everything i can to avoid any teasers or leaked items. i want to be open to any surprises that may come. that being said i'm looking forward to seeing the movie this weekend! :D
