The Walking Dead [merged]

I agree. They have already changed it too much for my taste. I understand contract disputes and the complexities of dealing with an ensemble cast. That being said if the producers want it to remain a viable series, they may have a eat a few crows.

But look at American Horror Story. They are literally retooling it every season to keep it fresh and exciting while reusing some of the same amazing actors for new characters.

At the end of the day us as viewers BEG for originality and something new. However when we get it we bitch and moan for the old.

We have to simply look at the Walking Dead Universe and think to ourselves "Does it make sense for these people to die?"

I don't know about you, but death is the only thing I know for a fact is bound to happen tomorrow night and I couldn't be more excited.

^Rick is expendable too in one sense. It would give viewers a huge shock as it's not expected. But it won't happen any time soon that's for sure...if ever.

Who would take Rick's place?

Glen I'm guessing, he really united the group at the beginning of the last episode.

Not like Herschel had to struggle with one leg down a hill to get Rick before it turned into North Korea in there.

andrea needs to die - least attractive character in the show

Michonne is coming out of her ....... shell

she just destroyed andrea verbally who still is a fucking idiot

Michonne smiling for the first time.

(I need to make one of <-these of a zombie, but right now, the X-tina one will have to do.)

Side note: Rick looks to be about 5'10" *Googles* Yep, spot on, he's 5'10". With that height and that size boot, that ninja looks like he's packing.

Looks like old Rick is coming back. I love how he said he was glad Daryl was back, and how he's beginning to trust Michonne. We gon' have us a War!

Oh and

@ Andrea thinking things were just gonna pick up from where they left off when they were at the farm.

LOL at Carl being "ready" now. I don't understand the ending with Andrea with the knife.

Andrea is a lost soul been like that for a long time ever since she got some Crazy Shane dick!

Michonne had lines! Good ones too.

/facepalm @ Tyrese's group though. I know they got booted and all, but it's not like they didn't get help. They might have not even made it out w/o Carl. Plus, they know there are kids and a baby in the camp.

Also, I like Carl. :( He's done some stupid things in the past, but he's a kid, so maybe that's why I'm more forgiving towards him. It's not like he's totally useless now. You saw him keeping watch at night on his own?! He's ready!

That Talking Dead episode was so awkward and uncomfortable. If it wasn't for Chris Hardwick, it would have been so quiet. Those guests were duds. At least I know the next one will be good. Aisha Tyler's bound to have things to say.

My favorite episode thus far has been the one with Yvette Nicole Brown. I love me some Helen from Drake & Josh and Shirley.

Overall impression of the last episode: dull. There was so much excitement at the end of the last that this one almost had to be. But I will say I was very happy with some of the emotional moments.

Rick; seems like his sensitive side is coming back just a little bit.. welcoming Daryl back & telling Andrea to take care were the moments I remember in particular. I do think this mission (which, based on the preview is gonna be a big test) is a test for both Carl and Michonne.

Michonne; great to hear her real opinion of something and have that conversation with Andrea that's been a half-season in the making. Very good, positive step for her.

Herschel; Fuck yeah.

Daryl; Seemed almost disappointed with Rick not to let him go on this run.

Andrea; Seems like she's finally fighting something inside her.. Isn't just making irrational decisions and thought something through. I imagine she's gonna find herself in hot water in Woodbury and have to make an escape.. Will Milton see the insanity in the gov'nah and join her? Doubt it, I think he's fucked.

Tyreese's guys; I don't remember their names, but the husband and son of the woman who died in the jail. Anyway, those two are pure gov'nah material.

Tyreese; I believe he's only doing what he thinks is best for him and his small group. I think he'll have a struggle with the diagramming (he knows there's kids there) and end up not doing it. Somehow, the back entrance will still slip to the gov'nah and they'll come in that way or something.

Tyreese's sister; I can't remember her name, sorry. Anyway, I think she was having major issues with the governor already and I expect we'll see a conversation between her and Tyreese in the next episode.

Yep, that's about it. Some little impressions here and there, obvs, but those aren't as important. Oh! Like Carol... telling Andrea to assassinate the Governor an episode after saying they weren't assassins... smh.

lol I remember her from Drake and Josh too.

They should always have at least one guest they know is gonna be vocal. As much as I like Chris, it's awkward when the host is trying to carry the show on his own.

This episode was definitely slow after what happened last time, but it was probably also because the focus was Andrea. lol

I think the group definitely got to Andrea. She's not completely blinded now.

I guess Talking Dead wasn't a complete dud. I did enjoy the comment about Milton being compared to Smithers from the Simpsons. lol I don't think he'd go against the governor.

Yeah, Tyrese has too much of a conscience still to get rid of the group at the prison I think. The sister didn't seem too keen on the idea either.

lol@ your Carol comment. I did not catch that.

I knew Andrea wasn't going him. Michonne or Rick needs to kill the governor.

I sort of like Andrea. She's a bitch that keeps the story interesting. Love the scene where she made her own zombie pet. That was bad ass.

Carl is not ready for anything other than maybe middle school. I would not take my kid out zombie hunting with me. WTF Rick? As soon as Asskicker is potty trained, you should take her out too?

I do feel like the show needs more zombie action. It's definitely not as frightening or tense as it used to be. Still a great show, but it's a different show now.

I can't remember for sure if she was the one who made the assassin comment straight up, I think that was Herschel. But I still think she voiced her disapproval. I don't remember now >.<

Its time for a run to the nearest regional National Guard camp and securing a couple M-1 Abrams tanks that are sitting around, load them up and make dust of the Gov'.
Why they don't do that is beyond me. Instead of driving around in a KIA SUV and old Ford pickups.
