The Walking Dead [merged]

^Shirtless Rick, tho.

Loved the episode. Not a lot of action, but at least it puts the Morgan story to rest.

Next episode gon' be good, y'all. [/paula deen voice]

I was a little disgusted that they ignored the hitchhiker, but picked up his bag after he'd been ripped to pieces.

I guess I just ain't bout that lyfe they livin'.

Did you really want another episode of season 2 "Do we let him go, or kill him?"

When they left the hiker I was like "Oh, good, they learned"

This episode was phenomenal. It had some zombie kills, it had Michonne giving me LYFE, and Carl was slightly tolerable but when we got a look at the zombie behind the counter I was chanting "Get him, get him, get him"

No regrets.

However, most importantly,

Favorite dialogue of the whole episode: between Michonne & Rick at the end.

Rick: You wanna drive?
Michonne: Yeah.
Rick: Good. Because I'm seeing things.

Welcome to the group for good, Michonne!

Poor Morgan....His commando attitude would have been really helpful at the prison....loved his zombie garden.

I loved Michonne is this episode tonight. We got to see another side of her and I like it.

How amazing is the actor that plays Morgan ? Andrew Lincoln said that scene with the two of them was filmed on his birthday and it was the greatest b-day present that he could have asked for.

It was good that Rick wasn't the craziest person in this episode. When he said "We will wait until he wakes up" I felt my heart smile. That's the Rick we know and love.

Carl is becoming very interesting and Rick is just starting to notice how much of a soldier he is. It looks like he is scared to tell him anything though LOL.

I loved that little moment between Michonne and Rick at the end. I hope that they can become friends.

AND....That poor little hitchhiker. When they stopped to pick up his bag, I thought that was a little cold....but I guess that is the world that they live in.

LOVED THIS EPISODE!

True. Besides, without Dale or Andrea around, the group would've unanimously decapitated him the next day, so he was better off in the bumfuck wild.

<snip>

I ain't about that life, either. Cold as ice. At least let him ride in the trunk or something. And get him to a safer place.

Oohh so that's what she said there.. I couldn't figure that out right away. Lol!

As for the hitchhiker, I'm torn. On one hand, Rick is always in a struggle with other people. He has to think of the group and not just about his personal feelings. The fact that the other two hardly reacted to leaving at all shows me they were thinking the same. On the other hand, some people could really just use a hand. I wondered if their encounter in the town would change their mind about him and they'd pick him up on the road, but that was not the case.

The last thing I wonder is if that hitchhiker mess will cause any of those three guilt for not helping. Especially after Morgan said no. Hmm.

He really broke my heart. Yeah, I wanted Morgan to join the crew and try to at least get better. Also, he'd obviously help by coming up with cool strategies to defend the group cos those were some amazing booby traps he set up.

Although, I would probably keep getting flashbacks to Hawkins from Jericho. That was one badass character, kicking ass during a nuclear holocaust in 'Merica. Lenni James is an awesome actor.

AHA! That's where I know him from. I kept thinking I recognized him but couldn't remember where from. He was great in Jericho...I hope he changes his mind and shows up at the prison.

I don't have a problem with the hitchhiker...it showed me that the three of them graduated survival 101 and have entered a new phase of survival where they understand what is at stake. It was also nice because for the first time I saw the three of them as a team. It is nice to see Michonne finally being accepted and the hitchhiker thing was more of a bonding moment for the three of them than anything else. .

I hope so too, but on the Talking Dead they mentioned that he is a very busy actor. It could be quite possible that he would have returned had he had more time (speculation), but I have a feeling that was just to bring closure to the whole Morgan thing.

Yeah, apparently they wanted to bring Morgan back in season 2, but he was busy.

As for the hitchhiker, I'm not surprised by the group's reaction. It's not like they all started out with the outlook they have. It's been what? Over a year? They know too well the risks of taking in a stranger. I think, as more time passes, people become more cynical and dangerous as well. People lose more of themselves with each passing day, until people like those two in Tyrese's group are what's mostly left.

Well, you know, picking up hitchhikers is illegal and Rick is/was sheriff.

Bye

No one is here for that post-dramatic-mess-Syndrome he had going on.

He stabbed Rick, like, what?

Yeah but he was fucked up because he lost Duane. Which I choked up a bit when the words "Duane Turned" were written on the wall, I just knew that Morgan couldn't kill his wife and now it cost him his son's life. :( I was hoping the both of them survived.

I thought this last episode was soooo good! A lot better than most other episodes this season.. lol.

I'm loving Michonne! She rocks. I kinda ship her and Rick now. I think they'd be good together!

While I loved this episode, best yet in my opinion.
Starting to find Carl annoying.

Okay, I know Morgan's episode had strong acting from both ends. Morgan was a little more deep than Rick for obvious reasons. I watch a lot of shows and I definitely think Andrew shouldn't be overlooked come September (Emmy's.) He may not win one but he certainly deserves AT LEAST a nomination for consistency this season. If he is overlooked, I will seriously do something...

I mean, c'mon!
