The Walking Dead [merged]

In a way, I was a little disappointed with how the TV series ran the Governor's death.

He had a hand in far more of the group's deaths in the comics than in the TV series (Which I suppose is fine), but now, going into the second half of season four, there's no major human villain.

My thoughts:
The group is in an incredible amount of disarray. We know that Carl and Rick are alone and leaving the prison for good. The bus took a group of survivors away (all randoms? Glen on board?). Maggie, Beth, Sasha and Bob were in a small group. Tyreese and the little girls. And Daryl had to find one of those. And god knows where Michonne ran off to after stabbing the Gov'nah.

There's gotta be alot going on. On the talking dead, they showed Carl luring two walkers down the street. Kirkman said that was about the only thing they could show that didn't spoil anything. Which means to me that other survivors had to make it in some way, they just don't want us to know.

Reminds me alot of how crazy the ending of season two was- when they were leaving the farmhouse. Hopefully they all had a rendezvous point.

To be honest how are every single on of you not absolutely dying over those two little girls and their head-shots? I screamed out loud.

Beth and Daryl were actually together when everyone got separated. I remember at the start of this season, after their moment when he informed her that her boyfriend died, someone on The Talking Dead said that scene was foreshadowing of more to come between the two of them (not necessarily romantically). I'm expecting the groups to still be split up when we return, with Daryl teaching Beth how to slay.

I'm of the view that the council had set up some advance rendezvous location as evidence by the bus and rations on the bus in case quick escape was needed. Maybe with a meeting point with a time limit on it so that anyone that doesn't make it by a certain time realizes its no longer any good. Then everyone for themselves.
It wouldn't make any sense for even the most stupid humans still alive not to have a plan B in a dire situation such as they are in from the living, the dead, and everything else failing on earths civilized society.

I hope not. Them being separated is the most interesting thing to happen this season. I'd rather see everyone develop in their small groups for the rest of the season and slowly find their way back to each other.

I needed someone to die, it sounds awful but whatever , someone in the group needed to die and i am happy someone finally did. the way they kind of just kicked Carroll out pissed me off because she was just starting to get to a point where she was a likable character. i'm curious to see the kind of relationship Carl and Rick have on their own, i think emotionally Rick is ( three sheets to the wind) gone. i think Carl is going to take more of a leadership role, its become obvious that ricks pacifist approach on the situation is not going to get them far and now its time to let Carl be the bad-ass Rick knows he can be. really hoping Judith didn't get snatched up by walkers too, it would be a shit way to kill of the only remaining infant in order to make traveling possible, but i guess it makes sense to not show a dead baby on cable television. i just wish they could have confirmed the governors death, this whole not knowing kind of sucks, but if i can wait almost 6 years for a game of thrones book i can wait till January for some answers in the walking dead.

They've already show you in 4x08.

The episode was everything! Carol's daughters slayin, Michonne slayin, the sadness that overcame me when they found Judith's bloody carseat. Every part of this episode was important.

Also, did y'all notice how Rick said it was up to the council for him to talk to the Gov'nah? Where was this council talk when considering if Carol stays or goes?

Greek‘s Andrew J. West is the latest name to join AMC’s The Walking Dead. His role Gareth is being kept hush-hush at the moment, although it’s said to be a “remix” of a character from the comic book series.

The Governor is dead, dead, dead. No one can survive a katana sword stabbing through the chest for long. And Lily shot him. Yes, it would have been nice if they would have shown him getting shot in the head, but we can be certain he is dead because they implied his death. I'm just glad they didn't kill off Michonne or Tyrese. They still need to develop those characters, so it made sense to kill off Herschel. Sniff! Sniff! At least we still have Rick and Daryl as eye candy. Show would be pretty boring without these two hotties around. But as someone else pointed out, Daryl's days may be numbered since they will be bringing in Abraham (another sexy beast) into the picture soon.

Who Is Feeding Rats to the Walkers?

Lizzie
who is a bit “messed up,” especially when it comes to her fascination with walkers. Maybe Lizzie was feeding her zombie buddy “Nick”? We saw someone holding a flashlight to feed walkers, and there was some debate about the height of the flashlight suggesting a taller culprit.

Bob
a new guy at the prison who just showed up right when the trouble started happening. He was always our #1 suspect … until The Powers That Be started acknowledging that it’s fair to worry about Bob.

what's that in shoebox, Bob? Rat?

How about Jeffrey Grimes, Rick's long lost younger brother. He is mentioned in the comics only presumed dead but hasn't made an appearance.

Or maybe he will be the remix of Jessie Anderson, a temporary girlfriend Rick had in the comic. Of course the "remix" would be that Jessie is a guy, so he becomes Rick's gay love interest. We could only wish as much! I should be on the show's writing staff.

I'll love to see that... and Dean O'Gorman is definitely my #1 choice.

I was really disappointed in this episode. As soon as everyone's favourite one eyed psychopath got a hold of 2 particular characters you knew death was coming. I wanted something shocking and surprising a la the barn scene. OK yes the car seat was shocking but personally I feel there is more to this than meets the eye.

I think it's whiskey or some other drink as they have showed his coping mechanism in this world is drink. I suspected him of working for the Governor with the whole rat thing but I feel that it is too obvious to be him.

About bloody car seat... I think they're just trying to be deliberately mystifying, we all know what was that in Tyreese's arms when he running like crazy.

The governor killed the baby in the comic. This show has been loosely following the comic, so either way it shouldn't be a shock or surprise.
