This is highly possible. That group would have needed to be well supplied and all to break through the wall, and large enough that they could so easily overwhelm the community. Unless they caught them by surprise, like with spiked water..... Would be easy for a "lone traveler" to gain entrance, asking for assistance or to speak to the leader (as Aaron did with Rick). Once inside it would be quite easy to add some knockout drugs to the water supply. If the town's too drowsy they wont be able to fight back much. And it doesn't have to affect everybody, just enough to make them easy prey. Gonna be interesting to find out exactly who they are and why they're doing it. Wonder if they could have any connection to the group that invaded Terminus......
 
Aaron is from the Alexandria Safe Zone. He's a recruiter who's been following Rick's group (which is why he knows his name) to see if they are deemed worthy of joining the community (ASZ).

I thought this past episode was wonderful. They really portrayed desperation very well. And I particularly loved the whole rain/storm scenes mainly because we never really get to see the group having to deal with terrible weather situations before. And speaking of weather I don't know about anybody else, but seeing as the group is now up north I would love to see A episode where it snows I just think that would be really awesome, and different. But not sure if that would happen seeing as the show is filmed in Georgia, and I read that they usually shoot from May up until November. But just A thought..... But yes excellent episode. And I can't wait to see more of this handsome Aaron guy. Because like many others I've been waiting for A gay male character for along time. We already have A female gay character as in Tara. So it's always good to have some diversity in the characters.
 
My opinions have been mixed in the past couple episodes. Some great moments, but more pointless dull moments that do nothing to advance the story to tell us something we don't already know. The transition from the midseason finale to the season's second half felt oddly disjointed. I am growing a little tired of how the show can go several episodes without certain main characters hardly saying a peep. It's big budget enough now they can pay all the characters to say something each episode. The cast isn't that large.

And please watch the spoilers from the comics. Not all of us want to know things on the show before intended.
 
The thing to remember about the comics, though, is that the TV show doesn't necessarily follow it. Just because a character is something in the comics does not mean he/she will be the same in the show. But yeah, if you have to post something like that at least have the decency to mark it as a spoiler alert, it just basic message board common sense.

I was bored again last week.....

I get that they had to regroup and grieve...but the barn sequence was just weird for me. I thought it was a dream but then with the tornado and the fallen trees on the zombies...it didn't work for me. Did a gust of wind throw the zombies all over the place and leave the door alone when they were all pushing at the door...and if the wind came and the survivors where pushing the door outward wouldn't they have gone up in the wind as well?

Aaron at the end...how fucking clean can he be? Does he have a hairdresser? They must have lots of hot water and soap in the free zone....good thing...they all need a bath...

It seems the vibe of TWD changed a bit since they returned. So far..I don't like it. Do they have new writers?
 
^Something has definitely been off this season; the writing is definitely part of it, but I think the shift in characters and just overall tone (current storyline too maybe? or lack thereof) has something to do with it. Everything just seems too...slow and confused? And I'm not sure where all this suspense talk is coming from in earlier posts, but the only suspense I feel is hoping Michonne doesn't get killed off.

Hopefully, now that they've finally been encountered by another group things pick up, but I'm getting bored with this season like I did with season 2 and it's lame ass farm life. No offense to anyone who lives on a farm, I just didn't care for them living too comfortably and the lack of zombies. :3
 
I reported earlier that a good gay character would be introduced this second part of season 5. Well it happened on tonight's episode with a gay couple. And they kissed. That is a hot topic with the homophobes more then anything else. The scene lasted about 30 seconds.
I'm on the talking dead site now as I watch it. The homophobic chat is incredible. Looks like a lot of these assholes are not going to be watching the show anymore.
This 2nd have of the season has been dull, last week was a sleeper this was nearly the same too.
