One thing I wonder about is how well these will age vs. a recent all gasoline Camry. As I mentioned before, I've heard rumbles from at least one mechanic on YouTube talking about how expensive these cars could become when they get old and electrio parts start going bye-bye. Then, again, that's probably the truth of any car today. The era of 20 years, half a million miles is probably over.

There are online stories of car shoppers being advised by their auto insurers what vehicles are "acceptable", otherwise start shopping for another car insurance company! You are correct that YouTube mechanics are revealing the hidden costs of long-term EV ownership and people are being advised to purchase extended warranties - the future ain't looking cheap!
