Wow, I much preferred McGreevy's "I am a gay American"
or Doogie's "I am a very content gay man living my life to the fullest."
But I guess there's no money in gay religion.
We should record all this phrases in a book called “Great Statements in Gay History”.
“Our church's overseers have required me to submit to the oversight of Dr. James Dobson, Pastor Jack Hayford, and Pastor Tommy Barnett. Those men will perform a thorough analysis of my mental, spiritual, emotional, and physical life. They will guide me through a program with the goal of healing and restoration for my life, my marriage, and my family.”
Sadly those feelings will never go away, that is who he is and it would make it worst for him and his family if he continues to deny his feelings. He is trapped in his believes and unfortunately there are no answers for who he is.
Although it is good to let the world know that Gay people are everywhere because they were born that way, I kind of feel sorry for this man, he probably was raised in that environment and now his true identity crashed whit his believes.
And I really enjoy this part of his statement:
“Please forgive my accuser. He is revealing the deception and sensuality that was in my life. Those sins, and others, need to be dealt with harshly. So, forgive him and, actually, thank God for him. I am trusting that his action will make me, my wife and family, and ultimately all of you, stronger. He didn't violate you; I did.”
It only shows that in his heart he is a good man.
