Ive wanted to know what a caprese salad is since it was mentioned on the office like 20 years ago. But dont tell me, I like riding the mystery.

Girl you missin out! SPOILER ALERT! IM GONNA TELL YOU WHAT IT IS! A Caprese salad is extremely simple salad consisting Grape tomatoes, bocconcini mozzarella cheese (not a brand just describes the size of the cheese it's pronounced Bok-on-chee-knee Motts-a-rel-la) Fresh basil leaves and a Balsamic vinaigrette simple to make wash the tomatoes, drain the mozzarella, toss together with some vinaigrette, for the basil wash and cut this only when ready to use it! It seems daunting but a chiffonade (Shif-on-odd) cut is used here all it is is stacked, rolled and cut herbs, scissors make this INCREDIBLY FAST! https://www.foodliteracycenter.org/food-wiki/chiffonade & here is a handy way to keep basil https://www.glad.com/food-protection/protection-pointers/how-to-store-basil/ This is especially delicious served with
Ciabatta (Ch-i [short i sound]-bah-ta) or Foccacia (Fo-kotch-a) Happy Eating!

But I had a very strange one. President Biden took me on a road trip with him in one of those huge Luxury Motorhome's. And he would not stop showing me all the control panels for everything. :help:

And scallops wrapped in bacon.

Have you ever had water chestnuts wrapped in bacon  the country club serves them.

That sounds like chicken liverless Rumaki.

I'm not a fan of liver. But if you wrap chicken livers with a water chestnut and wrap them in bacon and toothpick them and drizzle them with soy sauce and dark brown sugar and bake or broil them in the over you have Rumaki. Kind of an old Polynesian hors d'oeuvre. After a few Mai Tai's I will eat them all.

What a run on sentence

And Hoodie just threw up. :(

That might be what they are. I don’t like water chestnuts but they are so good. Part of it might be sitting overlooking the 18th green being served appetizers and Moscow mules

Yes I can go from muddin’ one day to the country club the next.

Edit: that’s definitely what it is

I have probably made 10s of thousands of Rumaki since I was 18. :help:

Never been muddin before. But in the 90s I did a lot of ATVing in West Milford and Vernon NJ. Still had a lot of dirt roads and trails then. Was fun.

And now I have a hard on that won't go down.

So good. I have not had scallops in a while so I overindulged.

Cute ^ :)

For anyone that might make Rumaki

I should be correct in saying that most recipes tell you to marinate chicken livers in soy sauce ginger garlic and honey. Be careful with some soy sauce can be extremely salty and intense. They can be diluted with a bit of water.

Also. You can soak toothpicks in water for half an hour to prevent charring and burning.
