I was with a group of friends when "Those Oldies But Goodies (Remind Me of You)" by Little Caesar and the Romans came on. And I was happy to see I wasn't the only one who cringed. Because despite the title, he doesn't sing it like that. He sings "Those oldies but goodies reminds me of you." Not just once but several times.

It really is one of those things you could go your entire life without noticing, but once it has been pointed out it plants a seed of hatred into your brain that grows every time it is watered by fry.

How about when a restaurant calls toppings, side dishes, etc. "fixins"... that irritates the hell out of me!
