Things you Hated but now Love

Broccolli..I hated it for the longest..just made me think of eating a tree..Now I like it but it doesnt like me...

For food, I also hated mustard but I've started getting into that these past few months.

To get a bit naughty, I hated giving blowjobs when I first became "sexually active" but now I can't give enough.

Foie Gras .... definitly foie gras... OH... AND SPICY FOOD.

Paul Simon’s music.

After losing a bet to my brother he made me listen to “Graceland” all the way through. I could not stand the CD. Sometime later I lost another bet to my brother and he made me do the same thing. That happened a few more times.

Now Paul Simon is my favorite singer/song writer not in a band.

Marmite.

The first time I tried it, it had already dried out. I slathered it thickly on my bread like peanut butter and spat it out with disgust.

Years later, I tried it again. I love it so much now that I lick it off my fingers. I can eat a whole jar all by myself.

Mmmmm...I love Marmite!

Driving vacations. Especially as a child, I hated rhese things. ButI've learned patience, and learned to really enjoy them.

I used to dislike Sushi and now I like it, I won't go to a sushi place to make a whole meal out of it, but I can enjoy some.

Socialising. I hated going out and being seen when I was younger, much preferred hiding in my house with a book. Now days I do love me a night painting the town red and getting the train of shame home at 5 in the morning.

I used to hate being alone. Now, I quite like the silence and my own company.

Boxers (the underwear, not the dog). My dad wore them. I always thought that they were nerdy. All the boys at school wore white briefs. When I tried boxers, I hated them. My first boyfriend wore them. I'd ask him "How can you stand them?" I swore that I would never wear boxers.

In the years that passed, he switched from boxers to briefs; I switched from briefs to boxers.
