Is this the unsalted Florentine pane sciocco? But for the dusting (of ?) on the crust, it looks as if it could be. How clever of you if it is.
It's my favorite bread, and impossible to find in Los Angeles. Or in most parts of Italy outside of Tuscany, for that matter.
