This guy's accent is mesmerizingly cute

Is this the unsalted Florentine pane sciocco? But for the dusting (of ?) on the crust, it looks as if it could be. How clever of you if it is.

It's my favorite bread, and impossible to find in Los Angeles. Or in most parts of Italy outside of Tuscany, for that matter.

But back to my question of you regarding Spanish accents...

^ I don't know, they just call it "pan de cristal" (no, not "crystal bread" "glass bread" ) over here in BCN

What...

I asked if there were Spanish regional accents you liked, and accents you didn't like. On this side of the Atlantic I am told that Buenos Aires and Mexico City accents are widely criticized, and Colombians think they speak the best Castellano of all.

^ Colombians do not speak Castilian, they speak Spanish.

I do not like accents in Spanish, at least not the ones in Spain (guess do not care that much about the rest... maybe because they would be more like a different language, so, what's the point of hating... but Southern American does seem... "too much of a bit" cloying), because they are based more on pitches and melodies than anything, except for the Souther part of Spain, which is more like American Spanish accents. Actually, apart from that melody thing, it's more certain grammar uses that make the regional differences: you know, Spanish phonetics are pretty simple and straightforward (just five vowels, - REAL vowels, not your fucking English diphtongs that you call "vowels"- and all that), so there is not that much room for accents in the phonology department.

What about the subtitles on this one... :rotflmao:

They are usually as bad as Google Trans, but his accent seems to have turned it crazy

Unless the software merely crumbled down under its own weight

how many more pages are we gonna go talking about sexy accents without mentioning my baby daddy from Grease 2, Michael? Dunno the actor's name but I know he got VIP access to get all up in these cheeks.

You mean Miles? :vomit:

That's Maxwell Caulfield. He was alright 30 or 40 years ago, not so sure about these days.

I recall perfectly "Dynasty"'s credits

But I am not sure I ever knew before today that he was British-born...

Anyway, way too foppish and baby-faced... cloying to :vomit:

He has a definite Ryan Idol vibe in some of these pics, particularly the one with the towel. Very cute guy at the time.

I saw him in Williamstown one summer when I was checking out colleges. He was in a Tennessee Williams play. I don't remember anything about his performance other than his body, as he spent much of his time onstage in various states of undress. I just read in his bio that he did a play in New York in which he was naked most of the time. It also said he started his career as an "exotic dancer" in order to get a union card.

Just checked the dates. Ryan Idol's porn image is probably inspired by Caulfield's look in Grease 2, as Grease 2 precedes Idol's debut by eight years.
I've never seen Grease 2. Is it any good? (I've never even seen Grease, other than a few scenes with ON-J and JT. Caulfield and Matt Lattanzi would make a very cute couple.

It´s supposedly very bad and pointless.

Grease is a fun movie. Notable for sexual mores having changed since the movie was brought out. People have started cringing about the references to sex.

Like for example?

I could never stand that movie, never actually watched it from beginning to end, and not even as a whole in part; my loath for it is second only to WSS: apart from the musical gibberish, it's the icky 1970s aesthetics in the choice of cast and their looks.
