Wow, for people to actually suggest that the hatred spewed by these people is shared among 300 million makes them equally as stupid as those idiots.
I guess the Brisbane earthquake was punishment.....for how the Aborigines were treated? Oh my god what dunces the US has.
I say; remember the Blitz in British cities. And never forget the American politicians, press and people's attitude at the time. or Bill Clinton's 'air power only' in the Balkans in the 1990s. Lol, talk about a nation of hypocrites.
Not to be ugly or rude, but in point of fact, it does belong to the U.S.
I am by no means an imperialist advocate, and I espouse forgiveness, not retribution, but both individuals and nations.
But, Hawaii is entirely and completely an incorporated state within the United States, and no separatist rebels are fighting there for independence, nor does the U.N. recognize it as a state in civil war.
Plain and simple, it belongs to the U.S., just as Wales belongs to Great Britain, Nova Scotia belongs to Canada, etc.
Well, youngun, in the U.S., we are equals before the law.
The bigots are not espousing beliefs I would like or promulgate, but I would not be so rude as to deny them their valid status as citizens.
My egalitarianism is based on religious experiences in which the Fundamentalists were too fond of intellectually disenfranchising their opponents as not "true" believers, or similarly, as not "true" Americans.
Unfortunately, history has proven that the first step to dehumanizing your opponent is through this sort of intellectual defamation. (e.g., Nazis claimed Jews were not "true" Germans.)
Yes, sadly these are true Americans, just not representative, thank goodness. It is well established that the U.S. and Japan have become strong allies, beginning immediately after the conquest of Japan, and due to the wisdom of Americans at the time.
Japan has been a bulwark regionally, and helped balance international tensions between China, Russia, and the U.S.
I'm certain the U.S. will make resources available for our neighbor, just as we did with Haiti, and not because we are politically consanguine, but because we are human.

I see that somebody mentioned Katrina a few posts back. Here's an article about Japanese generosity to America in the aftermath of the Katrina disaster:
But of course, idiots aren't interested in reason or truth, just any opportunity to spew their vicious hatred. And every country has them, unfortunately.

I guess they forgot that America devistated one of Japan's citys in just one move and change war rules since.
No need to rub this in their faces. Japan has overall been more beneficial than harmful since then.

ahhh, the irony in the BP OIL disaster!![]()
I wonder what "natural disaster" will get us back for invading Iraq?
Maybe I was harsh in my comments with a few, but I guess I have pride in my country and when I hear generalizations about Americans it gets to me.
I'd also add that any international people that make generalizations about "Americans" should understand how many of their own people are Americans!
You name a country, you name a religion, and there are people who have immigrated here.
So I guess what I'm saying is, if you're from (pick a country) and you say something generally offensive about "Americans," then you should understand you could be bashing your own people.
Those ignorant comments from the "Americans" about the earthquake might come with an accent that you'd recognize.
I really wish we hadn't given a voice to these ignorant people. But that's Facebook for ya.
I promise you, 99.9% of Americans do not support these morons and their Facebook views.
like keep alive bit longer pleaseAh... Americans.
You guys crack me up.

It's the influence of Foxnews; out of control ranting.
Primitives.
Quoted for purpose.
And sure, most Americans aren't saying this crap, but we have a climate that permits it, which is bad enough.
^^^
Yes. This.
Those quotes were bad, even for ignorant inbred rednecks.
How embarrassing.
