I don't care about the color, origin, language, religion or sex of either victims or criminals. I just believe victims have to be reassured this won't happen again, and criminals have to be punished. Best thing this guy coulda done is take his family inside as soon as the mob of teens came into view. How can you not see 50 pissed off kids coming down the street? If needed, call the police or wait for the mob to move on. Problem not really solved, but at least it went away.

Again, I pretty much think the White guy was out with his family and two of his friends. They noticed a group of Black kids walking down the street. The White guys, who were probably drunk, then were making inappropriate comments and/or slurs towards the Black kids ... which prompted a fight to take place.

No doubt in my mind that the 3 White guys were the instigating party in all of this ... although it was wrong for an entire gang to come over and take them on at the same time.

The guy was with two friends. How do we know one of the friends wasn't instigating the racial hostilities? Or it is conceivably possible that the neighbor simply never heard the guy involved utter anything racial before. Liquor can bring out the worst in people.

Again, the likely scenario that occurred was that liquor was probably involved in some way and that one of those three white guys started a confrontation by yelling towards the black kids.

You are going to have a terrible time convincing people that a group of 50 or so black kids simply went up and attacked these 3 guys for no reason at all. Again, no one is justifying their actions, and they should be dealt with appropriately. But to say that the 3 white guys were not involved in any way with instigating this confrontation is a pretty large stretch.

All I've done is post the news from Akron. The cops there seem to believe the story and asked the FBI to help. Rev Al chimed in too. The family's black neighbor friend doesnt seem to disbelieve the story.
