Meh. Technically good but there's absolutely nothing new about his voice. There's many many male singers out there who are capable of going that high and much higher.
He has a pretty standard tone and overall voice.
Actually, there are not that many men documented to be able to sing that high into that register. Yes, there are other men who cansing that high and even higher, but it's not common.
You'd be surprised at how many there actually are.
The notes he sings here aren't all that high as well. Haven't checked but from what I hear it's around D6, wich is not THAT high.
LOL he's a good singer and that was funny. I never knew a man could have that kind of pitch.
ThirstyC, you're right, he is a major star in Europe. I first heard of him about five years ago.
the song is suitable for some sort of movie.
Twillight ... maybe.
He should sing a English version too.
He has 4 and a half octaves, which is not common. I am not close to my piano right now, but I think it is an F6.
Not exactly common, no but not exactly that rare these days either. How low and how high has he reached?

It is not a matter of how low or how high. Many people can make sounds outside their range. The question remains, "Do they have control of their voices or do they sound like Roseanne trying to sing the Star Spangled Banner?"
I've heard a G6 at his highest. The lowest I've heard is F3, but he is supposed to be documented with having four and a half.
Vocal range IS a matter of how high and low you can reach. It's how you measure vocal range.
Are you sure the lowest you've heard was F3? 'Cause that's usually many female singers's lowest notes. A male can always sing lower than that...or like 98% of male singers anyway. From what I heard, he does go lower than that.
Not when you're trying to sing. A lot of people can reach those notes with their voices, but not many of them can make music with them.
