Imagine our life is a house we stay. To enter the house (the life) we need a key, just like a regular house; each room separated with walls and doors. Some of the doors locked, some are not. Nevertheless, we need the "main key" to enter the house.

For me...I refer the hard work, bleed, pain and struggle are activities we do once we already inside the house. If it's not about the chores and maintenance then the hard work is about "how" we keep our house (property) to keep intact with us, otherwise if we do nothing and being lazy..then we can't pay the bills or..mortgage and you know what happens next? Right?

So the key..and house maintenance are 2 separate things.
But sadly..some people still think that the "key" to enter the house is by ...mowing the law from the previous owner ..so you can use your money to own the house..waiting when the owner list it on sale.
Which I think a very cumbersome and aging process...Yes you can do that method if it's work eventually ^^ . But I wish they can simplify the thought process..to know that the "key" is not about your hard work, but the "key" symbolize opportunity, chance, blessing and luck. And I wish they know that we just live ONCE ..do we want to spend the most of our time in the process? or in the result?

Ok, each of us has different life stage to begin with (to start) some of us started in the shanty town, others in mansions but each of us..are "limited", we're excel in some things but not "all."
It's important to know things you can reach fast, immediately, take some time and the one you CAN NOT or beyond your capacity, if you push that thing beyond your capacity ON your shoulders, you become delusional.
You gotta have that skill to manage your power otherwise you become like my uncle in Cali...starving for high education in his late 50s ...hungry and thirst for degree ...he has double, triple jobs while taking class in college. What's all that for? All for his ego-pride..status. -_-
He doesn't know that his action ...suffer my aunt whose staying with him. He doesn't know that his college tuition is a bad move for his retirement as an immigrant who started his life in US at his 50s. That.. his double and triple jobs,although responsible...the jobs drain his life energy and health because he's not young anymore.

That his..new Honda car..is also a bad investment for his retirement.
And his new house is actually too expensive (monthly rent) than the previous one..
That my aunt must work too because they live hand in hand to pay the bills.
That..everything mismatched for a 57 yo guy like him to living a life like this. Because even though he become successful..(having the latest honda and Master degree) he prolly already lay on the dead bed in hospital.
My aunt often say to me.. "when we gonna enjoy our life?"

"When we gonna settle down and enjoy our fruit of life?"

or is it for him, being a workaholic is enjoyment?

What I think..my uncle can not change his fate to born farrrrr away from here..and have nooooo connnection or aptitude to become an american with american dream...he missed the essential developing years. There are things you gotta born here or caught in prime years to understand how certain things work. If you missed it, oh well...
just forget sexy office-white collar job; nurse, laundry, store clerk and terriyaki are your options to strive..but my uncle just dont get it! He's not my cousins or me..(because we have chances)

That's why I dont respect old prune guys who drive along with their new sports car...at glimpse..
if he earned that car since his youth and eventually he's still earn it, then kudos for him. if he got that car with the expense of his life...NOT sexy, more like desperate.
But those sports car are the sexiest...if the owner also young, a plus if he's handsome and able to maintain those cars.

Of course! Im still vexed to think that the key is our opportunity/chance and our "basic" rights/previledge to live..and a house although included second level after physiological need, it's still "the must have." I'm categorized home/shelter as the basic package.
There are some things you should earn in the first place ..before you reaching your goal on top of the pyramid (your true life goal)

I said "EVERYONE!" entitled to house/shelter, food, security/protection and all basic things..if you think (set in your mindset) that those things aren't your basic rights, then you eventually never get away (enslaved) by them and it's a very dangerous life pattern..to live day by day depending on your paycheck because to reach on top of pyramid- all the basic necessities must be met in the first place.

So what if you don't have adequate shelter/food (being hungry) and broke?
Manipulate your way to get them ! Either by using your friend to cook/buy food for you, sleep over at someone's porch, taking dump and pee on the street..do whatever you can!! You need to have access ^^ They're all forgivable!
Anyway Im talking mostly to guys in green zone area, when you're living in green-zone countries (with outstanding life quality)..I bet welfare and government supports are available, you just need to sign up but... hopefuly you're not settle (satisfied) in that condition permanently.

So our house..it's our life we currently living, nevertheless everyone of us..is resident. Whether we're living on the street, shabby house, apartment, a pad/mansion..the quality of our shelter depends with our self-capacity; our "starter house" reflects our capacity to possess..

I metaphor life quality with house because the house is tricky..it's like our very basic needs but it requires a lot of dedication and expense to earn that.
The most essential ..but the most expensive, how you get there?

How you settle to the environment you like? adapt to your job, having emotional fulfillment, doing life in general with bills(expense) flushing out everyday?
Your life is similar with your miniature life inside a house. The house is like the water and earth elements in you, the nourishment factor which some of fire (drive) and air (intellectual) type of people not pay attention that much but they do..in fact need nourishment to survive.

We're all living in a house but we're different house owners..some of us live bills and paychecks without desire to improve their surrounding..some of us need to beautify, upgrade and improve their life condition with home deco, remodeling and repairment ..some of them love to host party and social gathering, that social life is more important than the house itself, some ..hoard and drown in their possessions Some houses are clean other are pigsty..all reflect their personal life.

Those who rely paycheck by paycheck are the simpliest (simpletons). If you're a guy like me, not my intention to teach idealism..the world also need fetching simpletons to make the world goes a'round

About side jobs:

You gotta be smart with your side job..while keep open for opportunity..have mentality that you're not "belong here." When opportunity present (like happened to me while ago) GRAB it!! FAST! HARD! And DONT give it to anyone! mua haha

*~Side job(s) isn't a thing you should be bleed and stressed for...it's not something to be prideful either..it's nothing than stepping stone. Im loathing hardworkers who pride over his side jobs..it's just another unwanted examples for me because Im surrounded by them (dad and uncle same type of people) and I see how stupid they're fetching their side jobs like dogs. Eww..
People do the basic first from the bottom, but think that is just for temporary. It's ok, that's exactly what Im doing too right now but I was really picky before I landed myself to my current side-job..i dont want my stepping stone to be self-harming or super challenging ..because I invest my energy and dedication to something bigger than this.
But I'm not saying..just take your side job not seriously while climbing your way to the top, laziness is just an ugly trait- same like jealousy imo. Pick one or some of side jobs which get along with you just fine.

When you choose your side job, "do" wholeheartedly..dont be a bitch in ur shitty job because you disgruntled and stuck, "boo hoo..Im so sad with your situation", not really I dont have sympathy over those folks. -_- Let them rot in their mean-ness..like that mean-filipino prego lady who served me at Ross dept.store while ago, she has face and attitude sour than a lemon, poor thing. if you dont like ur job flipping burger 'cuz you hate it, JUST QUIT!! Quit that motherfocker job!! leave that to simpletons with family in mexico/cambodia.

*~About fixed jobs:
When speaking about "maintaining your house" that means...it's a life you choose after you settle to "your calling"/your passion in life or..your perfect home, but wait.. we're not in garden of Eden..nothing comfortable will last forever giving you satisfaction, you gotta maintain with hard work and even "fight" when the wind of change come through.

This ...when a term of STRUGGLING 110% from your capacity applied, not on the side jobs...Those fixed in their "side-jobs" occupation, do they living with their "calling?" I dont think so. I think they're motivated by fear..this fixed job is like "all or nothing." This is when you spend the most of your life struggling to maintain your house and possession ..you get the picture. Dont be afraid to take challenge, when you really love your job, the obstacles will become like "how-to-fix game" rather than a complete dungeon of drudgery. I believe..if anyone found their calling- he's not afraid anymore with the challenge.

We all need decent and even ..more bigger space to feel comfortable..or your home could be small but still comfy, whatever your preference..(living small or big) the house is expensive...
How to earn the house? Not by doing something illegally...but play smart with your budget+ circumstance+ relation to people sometimes could turn on your luck and like I said from #2178..dont spend most of your time...drooling and bleeding to get your dream house because you have the rights in the first place...to earn the house of your dream, keep having that mentality
