Too Old for Pokemon?

I was going to trade with effortless to get some of my pokemon to evolve, but I can't contact him now, so I need someone else to help me out. I've got the items for a couple, plus Haunter and Kadabra.

Have you tried that GTS glitch thing to evolve them? I haven't tried it to see if it works.

GTS glitch thing?

I saw it on serebii...I'll just copy and paste the steps.

1. If it needs an evolution item, equip the item before you even start. If the Pokemon doesn't use an evolutionary item to evolve, go right ahead to Step Two.
2. Deposit it at the GTS, and ask for an impossible-to-obtain-Pokemon.
3. Go back to the menu where you see DEPOSIT POKEMON, SEEK POKEMON and EXIT.
4. Choose SEEK POKEMON. Seek a Pokemon (such as Wurmple) and perform a trade.
5. After the trade, go back to the menu where you see SUMMARY, SEEK POKEMON and EXIT.
6. Choose SUMMARY and take back your Pokemon. It will evolve now if you did this correctly.

My favorite region is Johto.
I wish the would make a game with the orange island league, or add it to a region. Those were my favorite episodes of Pokemon the show

I love that glitch now! Got my Electivire, Magmortar, and Alakazam so far.

Ugh...things are so freakin unbalanced in there! I saw a Wurmple on offer for a level 80+ Spiritomb. That was actually one of the more balanced ones I found.

Oh puhhhleeeeze ! I'm 18 and I still love'em ! The show, the games, everything !

But I'm not obsessed. If it's something I'm obsessed with, it's Yu-Gi-Oh ! . Bestest game ever ! I had to invent an adjective for it !

By the way, when you get the game, feel free to tell us a lil' bit about it ! I'm always really excited about new moves when new games come out . (Can't beat Hydro Cannon !)

oh ...i like u......:D :D

there is no such thing as being too old for pokemon...and CATCH A BRONZOR...they are amazing...just thought i would throw that out there.

I just got a couple more of the trades. I had to go catch a Rhydon before I could get Rhypherior.

I hate Bronzors! Damn Steel Psychic types, how broken is that? I can't hit them with anything. The only firetype I have is a damn Ponyta, and I'm too lazy to level that bitch up.

I want my Ludicolo back ;_;

Yeah, to have so many trainers using steel-psychic types, you would think they would have put in more fire types. After all, not EVERYONE wants to start with Chimchar. I didn't, but early on put up a marrill and got lucky in getting one that was level one.

So yeah, they kinda screwed up in that area.

Yeah. That was pretty disappointing.

On another note, i've got what I think is my team, but who knows, I may change it again.

Gallade
Skarmory
Nidoqueen (Used to have Rotom, changed for Nidoqueen to give me a ground type)
Roserade
Kingdra
Houndoom

So I don't have an actual electric type, but I have electric attacks. I was thinking on it, and despite Rotom's usefulness as having only a weakness to ghost type thanks to levitate, I felt ground was a bit more important. Plus i've always like Nidoqueen and Nidoking, taking Nidoqueen because she has better stats overall. Rotom had the invulnerability to physcial attacks like fighting, but I had nothing to use against electrics, so I went back to my old fav Nidoqueen.

Gallade is awesome, with all better stats than Medicham except Atk, and thats not much of a difference. I used Gardevoir before, so when I saw Gallade I was quite happy.

Kingdra I've been a fan of since it first came into the game. The water dragon type is a nice combo, leaving it vulnerable to only dragons. I've always enjoyed using it, and its also one I wish I had five moves for. A fun thing about him is he has a nice Bug type attack in case a psychic or grass type shows up unexpectedly.

Houndoom is another i've liked. The only reason I didn't use it before now is because its defence was horrible. I've bred mine to have good defence. I can't wait to see what it tops at.

Roserade is just fun for me. I considered Torterra, but the problem with ice types was irritating. A lot of water types have some kind of ice attacks, so Torterra can be hard to use. I still debate with myself over switching to Torterra, but Roserade is so much fun too.

Skarmory is yet another one I like. It has been my flying type since GSC. Having a flying type where electric isn't a problem is so much fun. Especially if I find someone to battle who doesn't know that and they get irritated because their electric type winds up losing to my Skarmory.

So thats my team. Their effort values have been trained and I bred the natures to best benefit them. Now its just leveling up, as the highest right now is only at level 33. I'm enjoying it a lot more now that I have the team I want.

Use dark type moves(Bite took mine down in two turns), and GET SAFEGUARD!!!!(TM move) if not all your pokemon will be asleep....one of the elite four uses the evolved form of Bronzor and from what I hear it is tough....really tough.

That Bronzong wasn't too hard for me actually. Then again, i'd traded for a Chimchar long before and by that time it was around a level 55 infernape and just burned Bronzong away.

I never needed Safeguard...I guess I figured if I have time to use it, I should be attacking instead. They never seemed to worry about hitting me with status conditions.

I had to catch quite a few Magbys to get a Magmarizor. My first Elekid had an Electrizor.

Glad to see you are back.

Yeah, thats where I caught both of them actually. Using the pokeradar.

No, I had to have one of them. I can't remember which one tho. I think I got that wrong. I think you have to have the GBA version inserted, not PokeRadar. Let me check again and i'll post the CORRECT method here.

Magmarizor is more common for Diamond, the other is more common on Pearl.

The game inserted just makes one or the other appear, but I don't know which is which.

They are indeed very good at that -_-

I'll help you with whichever one(s) you can't find. Just let me know and i'll start looking.
