Too Old for Pokemon?

please i was just playing Pokemon myself..not Diamond or Pearl yet though. Playing emerald right now...i'll be playing these games til i cant press the buttons..even then i'll have someone do it for me. :D
 
no doubt, plan on getting Diamond soon...is there any difference between the two games besides the box cover? just wondering
 
Yeah. Basic differences as are always present. The legendary is different, the opening animation is different, and that's about it. This time around there is only Team Galactic in both.
 
I would say you're too old, but I have a good amount of hate for Pokemon. :P

I've just always thought they were cheap fluff RPGs with little to offer story wise. The cartoons are the typical drivel kids networks import that I feel degrade the amazing japanese animation thats out there.

That being said, my 38 year old husband is an avid pokemon player, as is my 10 year old stepson. My hatred could be coming from the constant Poke-talk that surrounds me at all hours.

I swear I feel like I'm eleven years old again whenever I play this game...and considering that was almost ten years ago that makes me feel old too :P
 
Cynthia's team was better built than the last elite four champion...I couldn't believe Wallace was champion in Emerald. That was one of the easiest champions to beat....of course Steven wasn't any better. The only one of his that ever gave me trouble was Claydol, and that's because it used Light Screen so often and I was a little underleveled when I got there.

Feeling eleven years old again playing this game is nice. It's nice to forget everything else while playing this game.

Roserade, huh? That was actually one of the easier ones for me to take out.
 
I used the items because I know I can beat them as many times as I want. There is too much after them to waste time training so items aren't as important. Beat them ASAP so ALL pokemon are at my disposal to make a team. Then the multiplayer rules can come into play.
 
I restarted yesterday, this time I started out with chimchar.
Oh, and I got Manaphy off my Ranger game, he's super strong, definetley my favorite Pokemon next to Charizard.

Luxio Lv. 17

I plan on having Hippotas and Riolu and Snover, I think I'll get rid of Luxio later on.

I caught all the legendaries with regular pokeballs. I like that challenge, so I tend to try over and over until I manage it.
 
I only cheat to get the pokemon I can't get because I can't afford to travel to some place where they are holding the event. That costs too much to get one or two pokemon.

I'm not going to get a Scyther and teach it Aeroblast though. That's just pointless. I don't do any cheating that unbalances my game. I don't cheat for shinies, teaching pokemon moves they can't learn, making them super powerful, or anything like that. Just to get the stupid event items to get the LEGIT pokemon in the game. I haven't caught a single hacked pokemon.
 
I was just wondering, how come we've never had a Dark type gym? Next generation we need one...
 
Yeah, they like ROCK gyms and not ground. Poison doesn't happen often either. Thats a problem that multi region travel could solve.
