Too Old for Pokemon?

You know, another pokemon that I find odd is Bronzong. It's just so odd looking...I dunno. If i'm gonna get a steel-psychic type, i'll stick with Metagross. Bronzong just looks so odd.

I just started my Pearl version, and started with Turtwig. Also I decided to play this one through as a girl.

I love the way it looks. I have it right now. I think Abomasnow is pretty sweet too.

Yeah, they like ROCK gyms and not ground. Poison doesn't happen often either. Thats a problem that multi region travel could solve.

I agree. That's what I liked about Gold/Silver and Crystal. Was after you did Johto you could do Kanto too.

I loved about those 3, they may be my fav overall Pokemon games for that fact alone.

I think this generation is my favorite. I like the region and the pokemon and the gyms, it's got it all in my opinion.

I like the region, but I like the idea they had in GSC better. This one is lacking in some areas those weren't. Of course some things are better now, but traveling through two regions was quite nice. It was a bit longer and not just a lot of returning to the same areas to find new pokemon.

Agreed. GSC games were my absolute favorite games of the entire series. But, just as a general note: Have you noticed that starting in the third generation, the regions just started getting a whole lot bigger than they used to be? Maybe that was meant to make people think multi-region travel was unnecessary? Either way, if that was their aim, I am not convinced. I think it would be cool if in future pokemon releases, you could link up with a friend who has a different region game and go to travel in their region. You could maybe even run in to them! Although that would probably also eliminate the need for the wireless colliseum on the second floor. There would just be a union room and a trade center. The wifi club would still be in full effect though.

Well maybe it's just me but they make it seem like each region is like a completely different country. Like when you talk to Jasmine in Sunyshore City, she talks about Johto like the main character wouldn't even know where that is. But that's hard for me to imagine since Satoshi Tajiri models each region after a different part of Japan and Japan isn't that big.

Its probably because Johto has been forgotten already. It's been ages since there was anything to do with that region.

It would make sense if they remade Gold and Silver. But that hasnt been announced or anything yet. Those are fake fo sure.

DAMN MY IMAGINATION!
after years without caring about pokemon, I just started to have a ideas for new ones =/

For example, a "Atom pokemon" who resembles a sphere with several energy rings around it, the catch is this, dispete the fact that it is a single species, it has several types, each one is from a element, theres is a metal one, a fire, water, etc. The evolution hapens with the combination of 3 of them (simliar to magneton), the evolved form type is multiple and depends of the other types involved, for example fire+grass+ice, my turn in to a ice/grass pokemon the final stage is big molecule who is a combination of all varieties and has psichic type.

There is already a pokemon with 3 varieties, anyway, I guess it could be done more or less, the special evolution migth be a problem =P.

Also, I thougth that the first stage would be very weak, the second would "medium" but the last would one of the most powerfulls pokemons. =)

There should be a chilli pepper pokemon. I'm surprised that Exxegutor is the only grass pokemon out there that is originated from a fruit or veggie. Where are the tomato and lettuce pokemon?

But seriously. Chilli Pepper pokemon should be a Grass/Fire type cause you know, those peppers can get really hot! lmao

Grass fire would be an interesting combinatoin. Wouldn't leave many weaknesses open that I can think of...

I know that the new generation has some, like poison/fighter and snow/grass.

one of the things that there is this comic www.vgcats.com is that they never change anything in the new games. How about a game where there is starter pokemons who are from diferents types than normal, it could be a diferent set of elements (lets say, thunder, ice and ground) or with combined elements, like water/fire, fire/grass and grass/water =)

Actually in D&P there is a cherry Pokemon, but that sounds kinda cool.

I was going to trade with effortless to get some of my pokemon to evolve, but I can't contact him now, so I need someone else to help me out. I've got the items for a couple, plus Haunter and Kadabra.
