Top Chef: Las Vegas

LMAO I always found Nigella's cooking shows strangely erotic too.

Poor Jen is descending further into madness with every challenge. but oddly enough it makes me love her more. At first she came off as so abrasive but now she's my favorite. Kevin rubs me the wrong way for some reason. And Eli is the worst thing going.

Considering the season was set in Vegas, this has got to be the most boring and vanilla season of Top Chef. I thought season 5 had no drama, but this takes the cake. I hope Kevin or Jennifer win. I really don't want Mike V to win.

I agree this season is the most boring of all seasons of Top Chef. I think this season is going to be predictable with Mike V winning.
Most of the chefs they picked this season were mediocre. The chefs that are left now are the only ones that were talented this season.
Hopefully they will do a better job at picking better contestants for next season's Top Chef if they want to continue to get viewers to watch this show.

Really? I thought season 4 (Chicago) was the worst! It had its moments, but it was definitely my least favorite season (although I do like Stephanie).

So it's Michael, Bryan, and Kevin in the finale. The producers still have their sibling rivalry. I for one would love to see Kevin's simple elegance beat out Micheal and his too-clever-by-half style.

The deliberation sounded really close. I didn't know until they announced who would win and who would go.

I can't say I'm surprised that Michael won, although I was rooting for Bryan. I suppose he won because he generally takes more "risks" in his cooking. God, Bryan was so cute this episode!

And I feel a little bad that Kevin was saddled with Preeti. Watching her trying to chop vegetables was painful.

Woo-hoo, reunion! Screw Launch My Line, I want more Top Chef!

I think the "real" winner was Kevin.

Always the fan favorite.

Always true to himself, and to his region.

In the end, I predict he'll have a VERY successful culinary career....

I loved the season Las Vegas, and I'm not surprised Mike won but I too was hoping for Bryan. He was just a nicer guy and as far as I could tell on a par with his brother in food. How hard for Mom to congratulate her winning son while the other one was clearly aching to his soul.

I loved Kevin, too, and Jennifer and Eli and just about all the others. Kevin did win the 30 grand so he has a stake.

All of the finalist will be great chefs for themselves, their restaurants and for whomever they may work. Their reputations are already out there, even before the show and I wish them all well for giving me a fabulous Top Chef season.

I predicted Mike V would be the winner of this year's Top Chef. No suprise at all. This season was pretty mediocre. Just a few talented chefs the rest just mediocre and not deserving to be on the show. I hope next season is a whole lot better.

I was just like "bleh" for this season. There was nothing really special. Atleast there is Chef Academy, now that makes up for this average season.

I loved the season. I loved that here were brothers (one good-one not so much) competing so well against each other. I liked Kevin but his down home style of cooking didn't reel me in. Michael was far more daring and created far more interesting dishes - even though I wanted Bryan, the good brother to win. I hurt for him as he stood behind his brother who was collecting congrat hugs from Mom whose yes stayed on Bryan. It was almost Biblical. The bad bro is loved more than the good bro, but only because he needs it more.

I loved jennifer, too. Although she allowed herself to falter under pressure, she was still an endearing and wonderful cook. Eli was a little imp of a chef and I kept hoping he would pull himself above the fray and occasionally he did.

Very entertaining show for me, and very excellent chefs and names I will remember and hope to she shining brightly along chef's row.
